Really cool place. Ordered a flight of their beers which were great! The waitress recommended their burger and special tots. So delicious!
Overall Score: 7.4/10 – A solid tavern-style brewery with unique Viking-themed charm, great food, and excellent service. Clean space, fun atmosphere, and quality dishes made for a memorable experience.
Atmosphere and Service: 7.5/10 – The interior has a cool Viking vibe without being overdone. The brewery setup adds character, and the space is clean with a good number of seats. The bathroom was a fun surprise. Service was excellent—friendly and attentive throughout.
Bacon Pimento Cheeseburger: 7.7/10 – A standout burger. It looked great and delivered on flavor. The double patty gave it a satisfying weight, the bun was just right, and the thick-cut bacon added bold taste. Slightly pricey, but worth every dollar.
Mac n Cheese: 7.1/10 – Creamy, cheesy, and cooked perfectly. The macaroni had a fresh, quality texture and strong flavor. A great side dish to round out the meal.
I have enjoyed this food for many years but I have never had a server insult my family. Our server Justin made three comments about the amount that my brother and his new fiancé gave and complained loudly. I’m not for sure if he had been drinking but he was slurring his words. He may not like the amount but it is completely unacceptable to embarrass the customer on three occasions even leaving the table saying “two of you have a nice day and the other two, nah” me and my family will not be returning unfortunately because I loved this place and used to be my first recommendation.
My husband and I went for a late lunch and a couple of beers. The food was outstanding. It was much better than a typical bar menu. We traveled from Fuquay Varina and we would go back in a heartbeat. It was worth the drive easily.
Sat outside and had beers and burgers. Food was great! Service was awesome!
I had an amazing experience at Norse Brewing! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a great Viking-inspired aesthetic that sets it apart from other breweries. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making great recommendations based on my tastes. The beer selection is fantastic—every brew I tried was top-notch, but the Mjölnir Stout and Ragnar’s Red Ale were absolute standouts. You can tell they put a lot of care into their craft, with bold flavors and smooth finishes. The food was just as impressive, with hearty, well-prepared dishes that paired perfectly with the drinks. If you’re looking for a unique spot with great beer, delicious food, and an awesome atmosphere, Norse Brewing is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back! Skål! 🍻
Friendly bartender. Beer was average. Glass was not beer clean. Very disappointing for a brewery to serve beer in a dirty glass (see photo.)

Very disappointed in what this restaurant has become. My family used to love going here, but the last 3 times we had be overly let down. Slow kitchen, cold food and awful wait staff. Just tonight our waitress walked past us 3 times in 15 minutes without ever even saying hello. Never even took our drink order, we have our menus and silverware back to the hostess and left to another restaurant down the street where we immediately had our drink and food order taken.
The Bloody Mary's were very good. Food orders were good. Two of the orders were on the cold side. The staff was way to interested in their phones then noticing patrons. Was not super busy and the atmosphere was very nice.

I went here one time 2 years ago, and to this day i still think about the duck fat fries and turtle cheesecake that we ordered. The food and drinks were amazing. Slightly pricey but not outrageous by any means. The atmosphere was kind of like a sports bar where we were seated inside. But i would love to go back if I’m in town during warmer weather so i can sit outside. Overall I wish this place was closer to where i live, but will definitely return!

We were not impressed. We were told we couldn't select what temp our meat was cooked to so everything was way over cooked. They were out of fries. Paying for the check made me jittery as it was a portable kiosk and were were unable to get a receipt after having to select a tip amount with the server holding the pad, then it asked for a pin number; that was uncomfortable. It was definitely not worth the $50.
