Olive Garden of Wake Forest has done it yet again. We had a super star Server tonight Ms.Diane. She and Chris have to be 2 of the best servers I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They are Johnny on the spot. Before you can ask for it she had it in front of us. ALMOST LIKE THEY CAN READ MINDS. Way to go Olive Garden for recognizing great talent . Thank you again Ms.Diane, see you at the movies.

The night started with their manager on duty being rude to an employee saying, “are you new here?” when she made a simple mistake. Joke or not, it’s unprofessional in front of customers. We waited longer to be sat after being told our table was ready, and even longer to get drinks. We ordered drinks maybe 15 minutes after being sat. We were sat around 8:05 and didn’t receive breadsticks until around 8:35. We aren’t typically people who time our services butTonight was exceptionally long. Food WAS good, but we waited forever for refills. Manager walked by us and didn’t even ask about our time. As someone who was a manager in the restaurant industry for years, I firmly believe the employees and their service are a direct reflection of management, and this management was not so great. Only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the food WAS good and my brother swears the past experiences have been great with different management.

This was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had here. The last two times were fantastic, but the lack of communication and care with service was poor enough to keep us from returning. The manager was rude to her employees, then we waited forever for a waitress to come take our drink orders (I had to go to the front to ask that someone come to our table), then we waited forever for breadsticks (had to mention it multiple times), and then getting boxes/ refills took forever. The only bright spot was that the food was pretty decent. Definitely not good enough to make up for the terrible service. Manager passed us multiple times and not ONCE asked us how our experience has been. I’ve built a career on customer service and hospitality at very successful businesses, and this was truly one of the biggest disappointments we’ve had.

Very disappointed with the chicken parm. Very salty, marinara had no flavor, chicken was over done. My husbands stuffed ravioli was delicious.
Had an early Easter dinner with the family. Food was mostly good. Had one order come out burnt, but they quickly replaced it. Service was great.

We had the pleasure of having Soli as our server. She was very professional but on an extremely pleasant and personal level. Soli was very attentive to our order and went above and beyond. She was definitely a breath of fresh air and should be a role model for other servers in the industry.
