My kids and I went to The Sugar Shack tonight and had a great experience. Located in a very pastoral setting, you can sit in one of the many seating options and enjoy the big sky and watch your kids play on the playground. They service was great and the ice cream was great too. We will definitely be back!

This is a hidden gem in wake forest the Sugar Shack I found in passing and had to try it some many great things to say, the experience was awesome great atmosphere for kids, outside, swings, horses, slide etc. The ice was excellent and homemade and a lot of bang for your buck check them out now that the temperature is nice out bring the kids have fun and enjoy....

This is the cutest ice cream shop that i've ever been to! The outside area with little playground for kids and swings is great for while they're waiting for their ice cream! They have seating for adults and even a couple of bench swings. The goats were hanging out on their bus, but they came out to say hello when we approached their pen. I got a banana split, and it was magically delicious!
Our group got a variety of milkshakes and scoops, not one person was disappointed! The cotton candy fancy drink was a huge hit with the kids! Will definitely be back!

Great ice cream spot in the country, but close to Rolesville (about a 5-minute drive past the high school). Ice cream is always good with a play area for kids and outside seating. The service can be a little slow when they are busy. Grandkids love UT!

my ex took our boys there for the ipledge ice cream scoop and the owner was so good with my younger son. he wouldn't say the pledge until a little girl walked up and said it with him. A huge thanks to the owner and staff for being so great!!!

Just like others have commented, nice ice cream spot for the family. I had Black Cherry ice cream and it was delicious. The playground is a nice touch as well as the seating area. Definitely be returning to try the other flavors.

Our first time here - we’ll return for sure with the grandkids.Great ice cream at great prices. Some fun equipment for kids to play on.Beware - not all GPS systems get you there precisely. Some get close but not quite. Google maps was best

It's literally a shack a ways off the road. Felt like I was going down someone's driveway. There is a small playground for kids and seating. Parking is on the grass, but this is the country, right? What I didn't like about this was that the milkshakes we ordered were expensive and basically just ice cream flavored milk, very thin and expensive. I do not think you get your money's worth, but the atmosphere is cute.
