TDLLO Ramen & Sushi

This was a pleasant surprise! We were looking for sushi on a Monday night and our usual place was closed. We found TDLLO (pronounced TITO) on Google maps, and gave it a try. The food and service were excellent. In addition to normal sushi offerings, they have some very creative alternative items to choose from as well. The miso soup was the best i’ve ever tasted, and my husband enjoyed the baby octopus salad and the geisha roll. I had the fatty tuna sashimi and eel nigiri, as well as a unique, no rice roll called Naruto - wrapped in cucumber, with tuna, yellowtail and salmon, topped with roe. Really good! We will be back.

We ordered takeout tonight and when I got home, we were missing my daughter’s order. No big deal..I just went back to get it. It was a Nightmare. First, I encountered who I assume was the bartender (blonde girl who went back to the bar after speaking to me..she was friendly) I gave her my receipt and explained I was missing my California rolls..she apologized and said they would make them. About 5 mins later, a group comes to the front (several teenagers and mgr) and starts messing with the computer..then one of them (manager I assume) says “I can’t adjust the price”…I guess they told her I wanted a refund or something. I said “I don’t need the price adjusted, I just want the food”. For the next 15 mins, I sat and watched their teenage hostesses give me nasty looks, giggle, roll their eyes, etc..like them messing up my order was a problem…I love the food but will not be back solely on the way I was treated for just trying to get what I paid for.

I was not rude EVER..i know how it is, so I’m always super nice and respectful..things like this happen..but sometimes I feel like I should be.

Perfect sushi spot in wake forest! Love the quality, the tastes, and flavors! In a shipping strip that also has cape fear seafood co and the black bird brewery and cocktail lounge. Excellent spot to stop by for dinner before cocktails!

I ordered the chicken katsu ramen online. My only complaint is that it automatically made it spicy and I couldn't figure out how to remove and it was too late to call by the time I realized. I still ate it and it was so delicious. I would definitely visit again (I'll just make sure to say no spice).

The ramen is really tasty here. We like the tonkatsu ramen. We didn’t try the sushi but looked pretty decent. The pork and ramen eggs in the ramen are very good.

Had family from out of town that wanted sushi for lunch. We saw their sign for a lunch special so we came in. When we were seated at the bar and asked about the lunch menu, we were told that they weren’t serving the lunch menu because it was a holiday. It’s Christmas Eve, the holiday is tomorrow. They said they would not change it and serve regular prices, even though they have a sign in the front of the restaurant that states that the lunch special is available. When I asked them about it, they said thanks we’ll flip the sign around. We were there the night before and had great service, so this was very upsetting. Do better. If you have a sign out that is advertising a lunch special, honor it. Would not recommend.

Stopped by the place because they had a lunch sign out and heard the food was decent, they decided to not honor the special and then flip the sign right in front of my face. I would not recommend a place that does not honor their prices.

Just fantastic. Our server was on point and accommodated my two grandkids so nicely. The service was impeccable and the food out of this world. It takes an hour just to read the menu they have so many things to offer!

First time at this establishment and it was my first time trying Sushi. The waitress helped me choose a speciality and asked the likes and dislikes of what I wanted. LOVED HER!! Loved the atmosphere. The only thing I did not like is how one of the greeters was staring at me when we walked in. Like we wasn’t wanted there. 🤷🏽‍♀️ But this will be our go to whenever I come visit my love. ❤️

Autumn was great! Gave great recommendations. Get the Fried Calamari!!! It’s well seasoned and perfectly crunchy.

Order take out from here. All the food was there, but one of the sushi rolls was without eel sauce (my daughter was disappointed). The sushi rolls were okay. [We ordered a California Roll, Philly Roll, and Shrimp Tempura roll.] We didn’t eat all the rolls because they just weren't that good. The miso soup and salad were also okay. We may go back to try some ramen, but not for sushi.
