A very pleasant surprise: visiting my son in NC, I went there with him and his 4-year old boy. My son had prime rib and (2) eggs, I had a big 4-egg farmer omelet, and the little one had pancakes and sausage biscuit. The coffee was excellent, and the little guy drank all his apple juice. The food was excellent, and I tasted my son's rib eye and it was really delicious prime rib :-) ... the entire bill was less than $30. The server was attentive and efficient. The atmosphere was very friendly, and I think we were greeted by the owner herself. It is not a small place, in fact there are two connected rooms ... by the time we left, it was almost full. Too bad that they don't have much of a following for lunch, and they're no longer offering it.

Very good Mom/Pop style restaurant. Cheap prices and won't break the bank! I frequent the place for 8 years now, couple times a week.

Truck stop restaurant. The waitress service is the worst you ever experienced. Do not bring your family here. Filthy dirty place.

I’ve read the not so favorable reviews and totally disagree with them. I’ve been coming here regularly for about a year now. But I have friends who have been coming for years and have always been happy. This is an old style breakfast restaurant. The food is simple and hearty. It is always busy. There’s no way spoiled milk has been served or over cooked bland tasteless food. I get the rib eye sandwich often and it is a thin piece of meat. Never over cooked. It’s tasty and just the right size. The prices are amazing and the wait staff are friendly and service is quick. This is a great family owned business. Give them a try and enjoy.

At first glance it doesn’t look like much, but they have great food, a terrific waitstaff, and very reasonable prices. Not many places you can have a great breakfast for under $10. One server “Michelle” is a standout for her terrific service. This is a Wake Forest hidden gem! Note: This is a breakfast only restaurant.

First time here and we are definitely coming back. Omelet was delicious and the biskit and gravy was a burst of flavor that had me wanting more...unfortunately I was full. ? my husband ordered the rib eye breakfast and he devoured it. Eggs and potatoes were perfect. He actually finished his and my biskit and gravy ?. The place has country home feel vibes and friendly service. Thank you Lily.

Inexpensive, good food, fast, with a traditional patriotic family oriented motif. No rainbow flags shoved in my face.
