A very pleasant surprise: visiting my son in NC, I went there with him and his 4-year old boy. My son had prime rib and (2) eggs, I had a big 4-egg farmer omelet, and the little one had pancakes and sausage biscuit. The coffee was excellent, and the little guy drank all his apple juice. The food was excellent, and I tasted my son's rib eye and it was really delicious prime rib :-) ... the entire bill was less than $30. The server was attentive and efficient. The atmosphere...

I’ve read the not so favorable reviews and totally disagree with them. I’ve been coming here regularly for about a year now. But I have friends who have been coming for years and have always been happy. This is an old style breakfast restaurant. The food is simple and hearty. It is always busy. There’s no way spoiled milk has been served or over cooked bland tasteless food. I get the rib eye sandwich often and it is a thin piece of meat. Never over cooked. It’s tasty and...
