Tikila Tacos & Mezcal

No hospitality. Crew stood there like they were zombies, i.e., no welcome, hello, etc.!

Okay, that aside - I was hoping the tacos would be good based on reviews!

Tacos tasted AWFUL - steak not seasoned and didn't look appetizing or like steak!

That's just me! Clearly this place has i'll-eat-anything fans!

I have had the best-of- the-best tacos, so my expectations are HIGH! In other words, when you've been to the mountain, it's hard to settle for ant hills!

Tried to come in for a quick bite at 9:20 on 7/24 and only got gawked at by the 3 people working. Not a hello, need a menu, nothing. We would have been in and out before they closed at 10, respecting the fact that these people want to get off on time and go live their lives. I just don’t see the point of having an open sign on and hours of operation if this is how it plays out.

My husband and I are from VA and we come to Wake Forest every weekend to try a new restaurant. Today we tried Tikila! We were greeted by Sebastián and he was so knowledgeable about the food menu and drinks. He chatted with us the entire time and answered all our questions. We could tell he was passionate about his work and he made our dining experience excellent and we cannot wait to come back. 10/10. Give Sebastián a raise! Great guy!

I give them a 10/10. They have a modern Mexican taste to the food which I can appreciate and value. The ingredients are super fresh and portions are huge !!! The prices are comparable. This is my new forever go to.

I came two days in a row and I tried the vegan chorizo tacos and quesadillas , the grilled shrimp seasoned perfectly, Baja shrimp taco is so good. I have not had anything that I did not like. Their salsa and queso dip is so good.
