Dairy Depot has been a great place to get ice cream and custard for years in Wake Forest. While the service is always welcoming and kind, it can be a little slow at times, but the product is always worth the wait!

Dairy Depot is definitely up there. Land space is beautiful,and there is tons of seating options that have good views. There is also a Drive Thru with Menu in case if it’s too hot or too cold outside. Be careful about getting the Train Wreck though since it melts very fast like MELTING! Soft Serve is a better option if you don’t want your ice cream to melt fast. Very hilly. Views are nice though. There might not be much parking either. Ice cream tastes delicious and Staff are welcoming. There is sanitation at front. Dairy Depot is for sure one of the best ice cream shops in Wake forest!

Love the Dairy Depot, what a gem! This is our go-to place to give the kids a little treat after scary dentist and Dr appts. Price and sizes are very reasonable, and staff is always willing to explain the menu. My favorite trainwreck is the cherry cheesecake!

First time and went through the drive thru. Pleasant associate took our order. The cups of ice cream with our favorite toppings were delicious. Prices are reasonable

Visiting relatives and we drove 40 minutes to go here. We called ahead as it was late and wanted to make sure they were open but no one answered and the message said “we are open and busy helping customers”. We arrived 20 minutes before closing and when getting out of the car I could see the employees looking out not happy someone just showed up as I’m sure they already started closing up. When we got to the window the girl there was extremely short and condescending “we ACTUALLY don’t combine any flavors here thats why we have a sign there that says that” I apologized saying it was my first time there - ice cream was mediocre at best. They only do soft serve. The attitude really turned me off and there is no way I would drive there again to be spoken to that way by a teenager with a management badge on
