Place was almost empty and it took absolutely forever to get our sandwiches made. From order time to completion, it was almost a half an hour wait. Would have made more sense if it was packed but there was only one customer ahead of us. Staff was cold and incommunicative. No thank you, no hello, nothing. Felt like I was inconveniencing them by even being there. Pretty sure they never said a word to me the entire transaction until they called my name for the food. Sandwich was decent, but no where near good enough to make up for the experience. Thumbs down. Disappointed. Need more good sandwich shops in Wake Forest.

Went there yesterday (Sunday). There was a young male and female working. There were four others in the restaurant waiting for food. The girl who was ringing us up barely had any idea what she was doing. They had no Italian bags so I asked for some. We filled it out and she was punching everything in which took forever. We had two Italians and two kids meals one being a peanut butter and jelly. She asked if we wanted it hot?? Sure I want to give my 4 year old a hot peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but I of course said no. They did not have sliced bread even though the website shows it and the menu shows it (literally the picture is a slice of bread). 4 year olds are picky but I said what the heck lets see if he eats it. She also put my sandwich in wrong which I had it corrected. I know it's hard to read a bag with red permanent marker on it indicating what I ordered.

Total came to $48 which is awesome (not) for two adult meals and two kids meals. Everything is expensive so you just have to take it I guess. We were sitting there and I was watching both workers. The male worker took 10 minutes to make one sandwich and he was bringing one thing out at a time. He brought one sandwich, then he came out with a cup full of some kind of sauce he made in a blender (he asked the girl how to attach the lid to the blender). Then he came out with another cup of something else, then he got their 2nd sandwich. He was walking slow, moving slow, and seemed very confused. He brought one sandwich to a table that was already eating sandwiches. He couldn't see they were eating and the other table had someone not eating?

The girl was trying making sandwiches but people kept coming in so she had to ring people up. The problem is she was taking peoples new bags and mixing them up with ones she had yet to make. My kids sandwiches were on top, but mine and my wifes were towards the bottom. There were like 12 bags piling up and no sandwiches were coming out besides the guy who seemed more interested in making sauces and walking like a sloth. In 25 minutes I saw two sandwiches get made.

Heres the kicker. The girl was wearing gloves and in the 25 minutes I was there was using the stamps for the bags, using the cash register, made one sandwich, handled money but said she couldn't take it because wifi was down, and touched many different surfaces NEVER changed her gloves.

The other issue is the place is FILTHY. The ground, tables, bathrooms, everything was dirty. At this point I told my wife lets just get a refund but they couldn't because wifi was down and they would need to call the manager. I just left and will do a charge back with my credit card company.

Heres my question to the manager. Why has YOUR restaurant not been sufficiently cleaned? Why is everything filthy? It's embarrassing. Why are you leaving two young people to run this place on a Sunday? They needed a manager there to guide them, but instead you left them alone to crash and burn. The people after me also wanted a refund and other people that had walked in saw what was going on had left. In those 20ish minutes you lost hundreds of dollars in business. I haven't been to Whichwich is several years and guess what? I will never come back. There is no excuse for your restaurant to be run this poorly, especially for the prices being charged. For a little extra money we can go down the road and sit down to a nice meal with real service. Sandwiches should not cost this much and those two employees should not be running this store. I cant imagine you will stay in business if this is normal. The recent google reviews seem like it is.

I don't mean to harp on the two people working there. It's 100% the managers fault for leaving them alone. But the one kid moves way too slow, and the girl is not a multi tasker at all. The manager should have been working the register and assisting those two people and telling them what to do.

I ordered a BLT from this restaurant. I ended up waiting 30 minutes for it to be made and once I get home, I see it is burnt and barely has any bacon at all, was pretty much just bread and cheese.

Now I know I will spend more when I get food delivered plus I get GF options with double meat, that said.
I got 2 wiches at $40, fine, or so I thought.

These things are so small as to be laughable!
Kids size food, (next to receipt paper for scale) and wow, if that’s double meat then they must just waived the meat around it for a normal serving!

Will not waste money here again.
Unfortunate, as I liked their options.

Looked like a nice place but my sandwich was so salty I had to throw half of it out and I got the supreme. Very unsatisfied

White Bread was terrible and undercooked. Wheat was better but not great. Out of standard order templates. Staff was accommodating. But food and atmosphere very bad.

Walked in for lunch as I wanted to try a new spot. I ordered the Turkey Club meal and it came out to just over $15, which is what I would expect. However, as I waited for my meal, I noticed how dirty the place was: crumbs all over every counter and surface, chairs tossed around, dirty floors and tables. I'm guessing that's why the cleanliness rating was a low 92.5 (which I wish I knew before ordering).Filled up my drink and noticed the bathroom door sign: "Please knock! Bathroom door lock broken". Why not just fix the bathroom door lock?I received my sandwich in a reasonable amount of time, but it did not look very tasty. First of all, they don't use real bacon strips. They use bacon crumbles! If I had known that, I would NOT have chosen a club. Secondly, the bread is very....cheap. It just crumbles apart and has zero taste or structure. Thirdly, the ingredients taste very cheap and plain. The cheese tasted like Kraft Singles. Finally, because the bread is so bad and of poor quality, the sandwich gets soggy very quickly. If you like mayo, mustard, oil or vinegar on your sandwich, expect a wet mess.Do yourself a favor and go to Jersey Mike's or Village Deli for a solid sandwich at the same price. I wont be back.

I placed a DoorDash order and received half the ingredients on my large veggie sub. So disappointed. Just plain lazy!

Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options but you sure wouldn’t know it by looking at my naked sub full of the wrong mustard and few veggies

My 2 "Hot" sandwiches were extremely soggy despite being double wrapped and bagged. I returned the food and asked for a refund. It has been 6 days and 3 phone calls and still no refund!

Low 90’s sanitation score. I asked for a cold sub and my bread was still toasted. No hairnets or masks so since it took 2 people to make my sandwich i had 2 people joking and talking over my food being prepared. Also, the French fry machine is down because the owner doesn’t want to pay to get it fixed…This was my 1st time trying which wich. I’m not counting the chain out but definitely this location.Food was what i came for and i got that. Even enjoyed the food.

Synopsis: A good sandwich shop with plenty of options, tasty food, and decent pricing.Girlfriend and I were looking for sandwiches and wanted to try something new and different. We've driven by Which Wich often and have always wondered about the food. Needless to say neither of us were disappointed in our sandwiches.I ended up getting a large Wicked with an Oreo shake and my girlfriend got a large bacon and avocado. They were delicious and the shakes were a good combo. We also wanted to give a shoutout to the amazing staff that changed our pickup time to accommodate a crazy day. They are amazing people!Overall this is a good sandwich spot and definitely worth the time.5 Delicious Wichs out of 5!
