Miso’s Ice Cream

I wanna start by saying if I could leave zero stars I would but, As a DoorDash driver, I’ve been to many places to pick up orders, but my experience at Miso’s Ice Cream was one of the worst I’ve had. 😤

When I arrived, the order wasn’t ready, so I went to sit and wait. No big deal—until I witnessed something that honestly broke my heart. 💔

A mother came in with her young daughter, who clearly had a disability, and ordered ice cream. The little girl was excited but needed a little extra time to decide. Instead of being patient, the girl behind the counter rushed her, making her anxious. The little girl started to cry, overwhelmed by the pressure. 😞

Rather than handling the situation with kindness, the employee got frustrated, went to the back, and brought out another girl to help. The mother, clearly upset, did her best to console her daughter, but it was heartbreaking to watch. No child should be made to feel like they are an inconvenience.

This place seriously needs to train their employees better. Watching them be impatient and dismissive toward a child—especially one with a disability—was unacceptable. Kids deserve kindness, not frustration. Do better, Miso’s. 👎

Terrible Experience at Miso’s Ice Cream

I had an awful experience at Miso’s Ice Cream, and I won’t be returning. The staff, mostly teenagers, were incredibly unprofessional. First of all, the girls were wearing shorts that were far too short and inappropriate, especially for a family-friendly environment where kids are present. It’s really uncomfortable for parents and kids to see.

To make matters worse, they rushed my daughter while she was trying to pick her flavor, and the stress made her so frustrated that she ended up crying. Instead of being understanding, they continued to hurry her along, showing no empathy for a child who was upset.

On top of that, the employees were loudly gossiping about store drama in front of customers, which is absolutely unacceptable. We don’t come to an ice cream shop to hear about the staff’s personal issues. It was unprofessional and ruined the experience.

Please avoid this place if you value good customer service and a pleasant environment for your family. There are plenty of other ice cream shops that treat their customers with respect.

Horrible service ! Employees are rude & disrespectful. I wouldn't recommend wasting your money.

Ive gone here multiple times but this time really made me uncomfortable even being in there. I got a milkshake that was undrinkable and the employees were just being rude to the poor girl at the register, who looked just like they started working there. The blonde girl didnt even know what she was doing and it looked like the manger was the only one who knew what to do. I wasnt charged the right price and neither was another customer from what i heard.

We went there last night for the first time and the ice cream was delicious! We will definitely going back!

used to be the best ice cream now they switched brands and charge you $9 for a milky over blended shake

Not the greatest ice cream shop. Service is awful ice cream does not taste good. I prefer brandys ice cream in Kernersville and archdale and thomasville. Can't beat it.

Good selection, but quite a bit pricier than other places. Also felt rushed to pick a flavor by employees. We went when no one else was there.

Misos is my favorite. The service is always quick, no matter how busy they are. They have the best staff! They are so friendly and patient for us of those who are indecisive on choosing a flavor (as they have a large selection). The prices are also great.

Went for Ice cream today my Husband was eating on his Ice cream and licked a hair in it gross!!! Over priced and never again. The girls working there should wear hair net and no baggy sweat shirts the hair could of fell off her sweatshirt nothing worse than a hair $5.99 per small scoop.. good luck... never will return made him sick!!

My family went here yesterday. Ice cream was so soft it was melting before the girl handed too us. Sun was blaring through windows and it was so hot inside the ice cream was melting in freezers. Over priced 5 people nothing special 3 cones and 2 cups $31!! They seriously need to invest in some blinds for windows and think about their prices, I don’t know how they are staying in business, it was a terrible experience and I will not go back. Dairi-O is much better and cheaper!

Ice cream was great!! The girl working there was not friendly at all...We walked in, was looking around at the ice cream because it was our very first time there, she NEVER greeted us or smiled or anything...I understand we all have bad days, but still could be a lil nicer to the customers..
