Decided to drive to the Seafood Shack from VA.. Normally we go during the week but just decided to do it on a Saturday..The Seafood Shack did not disappoint us, I had the small flounder and large shrimp, salad, baked potato and tried the macaroni and cheese. It was all wonderful, the macaroni and cheese was absolutely delicious best I have had, very creamy, salad freshest ever, 2 good size pieces of flounder and several large shrimp. Brought a lot of it home because I ate all I could. Delicious, wonderful service and the place was very busy for an afternoon. My husband had lots clams, scallops cooked to perfection and he had a baked potato, slaw and he bought some of his home too. We will be back. 😊

went there today October 1. about 3 o'clock pm my wife ordered large flounder and popcorn shrimp. plate. the fish was 2 small pieces of CRUNCHY DRIE WHITE FISH., NOT FLOUNDER. I ORDERED BROILED SCALLOPS AND OYSTERS. AND A SALAD. 5 TINY SCALLOPS, 5 TINY OYSTERS. THE WAITRESS FORGOT MY SALAD. SHE HAD TO GO BACK AND GET IT. SMALL BOWL OF LETTECE TWO PAPER THIN SLICES OF CUCUMBER, WIFE HAD TO WAIT ABOUT 12 TO 15 MINUTES TO GET A REFILL ON HER DRINK , THE SERVICE WAS VERY BAD. NEVER HAD A CHANCE TO COMPLAIN TO THE WAITRESS, I GUESS SHE WAS ASHAMED TO SERVE THE PLATES SHE BROUGHT. I TOLD THE CASHIER WHEN SHE ASKED HOW WAS EVERY THING. I SAID NOT IMPRESSED , WITH THE FOOD OR THE SERVICE, $39. 85. SHE SAID YEAH WE HAVE HAD A FEW COMPLAINTS ON THAT WAITRESS TODAY. I HAVE EAT HERE SEVERAL TIMES, YEARS AGO. AND GOT GOOD SERVICE AND GENEROUS PORTIONS. WE LIVE AND LEARN, WILL NOT BE BACK.

The food was delicious, fast and fresh. The service was wonderful. They were not too busy tonight so we were seated right away. Plenty of parking and easily accessible. Would recommend the crab meal, it was amazing!

I used to love the light, crispy, perfectly fried seafood I could expect from this establishment. I've only gotten meals to go as a widow over the past year and the quality and consistency just isn't what it used to be. I ordered fried popcorn shrimp & fried catfish and got there 12 minutes after I placed the order. Took me 5 minutes to get home with it and the food was cold. No warmth kind of cold. The batter was not adhered to the catfish but in a couple of places; the rest was scattered over the French fries. The shrimp was tough and greasy. Fries were greasy as well. What I did eat had the taste of cooking oil past it's prime. It's a shame; this meal was not unlike several others I have picked up from there over the past year. Hate to leave a review like this, but it's just not worth my money anymore to bring home greasy, heavy seafood.

Ordered by phone and picked up at drive thru. Got the jumbo shrimp and fries. Mmmmmm...it was so good. It was ready for us when they said it would be. This is one of my favorite fish resturants.

We had eaten here previously and loved it, so we drove from Charlotte, NC to have lunch on my husband's birthday. We were super happy that we did. Service was awesome. Debbie waited on us. Service was prompt and she was attentive to our needs and requests. We asked for our seafood to be cooked medium, and it was cooked just right per our request. The food was so delicious, and we had leftovers for a dinner snack. We'll certainly make the drive again.

This sure hit the spot, quick and hot. It's been a while since I ate here, and this experience was better than I remembered. I had found another place I like better that is further away from, I might start going back.
