First things first ... I have to be totally honest so that I don't mislead anyone! I've been to this eating establishment many, many times. The first couple times was pretty dang good and their prices aren't bad either. Every time I've been there it's always been clean and the waitresses are usually o top of their game. When we ate there this time, I couldn't eat my food. There was a fly, which I told my waitress about to no avail. It walked all over my baked potato. I, again, told my waitress and she gave me a new one ... thank you!! When we left we both had this great film kinda stuck to the roof of our mouths and teeth. I finally had to get some gum to make it somewhat tolerable until I could get home and brush my teeth. I plan on giving them another chance one day but not anytime soon. As the old saying goes, it left a bad taste in my mouth!!

Came in with my family and service was slow. To top it off the food was undercooked and made two of my kids sick. Say away!!!

Omg this place has the best chicken strips. And the onion rings are the best around. To be honest the chicken strips are better than restaurants who do nothing but chicken. They have nothing on The seafood shack. These chicken strips melt in your mouth so do the onion rings. My husband loves their popcorn shrimp. He said they were the best he had. I will always get my chicken strips from the shack from now on.

Just had a horrible experience at The Seafood Shack in Walkertown. The waitress NEVER came over to our table after she delivered the meals! No refills on anything! Just turned her back as she passed our table. Couldn’t even finish my lunch without anything to drink. I finally just went to checkout to retrieve the ticket. When I voiced my experience,she thought it was funny. Our lunch was $70.00. And I didn’t think it funny to not be able to enjoy my lunch!!!“Disappointed and disgusted “!!

It was about an hour before closing.... flounder was over fried, and tarter sauce tasted like runny mayo. I asked for fresh fish and was told no....I ended up packing up and taking my shrimp and hush puppies home for sauce. I doubt if I'll come back.... Mayflower is better, believe it or not
