Excellent service and great food!! Shrimp fajitas are excellent! And they have chile toreados!
This is a wonderful place to dine for lunch or dinner. The staff are friendly and attentive, the salsa, cheese dip, margarita and quesidilla I had were wonderful. One thing I love is that its not your traditional Mexican restaurant. While still being authentic they also step outside the box with their atmosphere and food selection. This is my favorite mexican restaurant. Definitely worth trying if you haven't!
Careful how you order food unless you want cheese dip soup with raw fries and the thinnest burrito with no flavor.
Wasn't impressed at all ,
Linda-Vista is way better
Excellent atmosphere, food is always hot, fresh and delicious. Friendly staff as well.
It was very nice the food was good and the owner even came by and spoked to us that was nice
The least Mexican Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. Salsa tastes like pizza sauce and cheese dip is so watery it doesn't stay on the chip. Service was good, waitress was nice and attentive. The country music and the environment gives off a honky tonk vibe. Recommend adding line dancing and a mechanical bull.
The corn tortillas, my enchiladas were wrapped in, tasted raw and uncooked...
I quit eating here over a year ago because the service was so bad with decent but not great food. I decided to try it again ( A Saturday at 12:30pm). Food was good but 1 waitress for whole main part of restaurant. Halfway through eating I moved my tea glass to outside edge of table so she could see it was empty. Waitress walked by twice (never looked at me when I tried to get her attention) and hostess walked by three times without looking or stopping. It took 10 minutes to get a refill and by that point I was done eating. Will I eat there again, probably not in the restaurant because of the still bad service, but maybe takeout.

Whatever you do CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE THIS PLACE WITH YOUR TAKEOUT! Goodness gracious! This is the second time they have neglected to include items that we ordered. I am a Southern lady, so the first time, "Okay, mistakes happen." But now AGAIN? REALLY?! And when I went back - Oh yeah, I went back - they gave NO apology; said it was a system malfunction. I don't need to worry about checking my order because guess what? NOT GOING BACK!

Restaurantji Recommends
This restaurant used to be better but it is still good. Service is terrible. Waitress brought my glass of wine as I was finishing my dinner. Saw her in the back hallway twirling her hair. Not good in a restaurant. It wasn’t busy either. She had three tables.

The service was absolutely horrible very slow. Actually the owner helped us and I could not say any worse things about it. She brought me a plastic ramekin of salsa Verde and expected me to use that for the meal we ordered and the serving was the size of the kid portion and the chicken was overdone and hard as a rock After waiting for over 10 to 15 minutes to order food that’s what we received. Never checked on us never asked us anything. Absolutely wouldn’t highly not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Do yourself a favor don’t go to this restaurant!

Service was a bit slow, but the food made up for it! Absolutely best outside of Mexico! And loved that the building used to be a bank. The bank vault is still there

We've had lots of good luck with Mexican restaurants in the Winston-Salem area. This one had slightly different specials although we went with just the California burrito and a taco. Both were very good. Not the huge portions that we found at the last place but still plenty of food and a reasonable price.

Food wasn’t so great. When I ordered a drink I got pressed by some guy after showing the waiter my id. I gave him two ids , driver license & military id. He still questioned my year of birth. Gave him the year, looked at me with an angry gaze & walked away. I felt like he thought I was lying about something or racially profiling me but other than that waiter did a good job. It was just that one guy for me. As a Hispanic, they could work on the birria tacos wasn’t sure if the tomato sauce they gave was supposed be consume for the birria but it wasn’t.
