Never, have I ever, had a bad meal or service from Hillbilly Hideaway. Here's to another solid! When I want good country cooking, I plan a week in advance to go to Hillbilly Hideaway. Family style dining, all you can eat Friday special of fried chicken and fish, pure heaven! Drink of sweet tea or lemonade is included with the meal. The food comes out hot and plentiful. The pinto beans creamy, firm, and thick! Chicken and fish hot and crispy. Hands down this is some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. Coleslaw is cold and firm, creamy and sweet. Although the mashed potatoes falls flat in my opinion it is made up by the many other sides that accompanies the meal. The country ham isn't overly salty and pairs well with the flap Jack biscuits. The atmosphere is very rustic. You won't get frills and thrills here but what you will get is good southern hospitality. The "can I get you anything else sweetheart?" makes it hard to say no but eventually you have to drag yourself out of that booth or table and to your car. I highly recommend Hillbilly Hideaway!

The food was swiftly served because apparently it was already setting out when we arrived, it was cold. It was absolutely at our table faster than ever,...too fast to have been freshly dished up. The price is outrageous to get cold food and hard bread right on the start.

Good down home cooking you won't find anywhere else! Best fried chicken I've ever eaten, meatloaf, stewed apples and hoe cake! Don't miss this treat, live music down in the barn in the warmer months!

I've heard about this place from friends been had never been before. It's a nice little place that doesn't feel too crowded despite not being real big. The food was good and the service was great. It pays to go there hungry. The $25.00 per person was a little steep for no more than I ate. I would certainly recommend it. I hear their breakfast is also very good.

HH is an all you can eat diner that boasts an old timey atmosphere with little service needed. You do not get a lot of choices for drink options but you do get plenty of food options. It is a little pricey at 23 dollars so if you are like me and do not eat a lot, it is best to not eat lunch before you go so you can get a little more food in your tummy. For those who can put down the food..... this is the place for you. You can't beat the taste of the southern fare. The bathrooms in the women's bathroom have curtains for doors so be prepared for that..... Not that I care but my niece was a tad bit confused by it

Always a favorite spot for me. Friendly people and down home cooking!! Go really hungry because it's family style eating at its best. Country ham Chicken Another meat (fish or ribs) Mashed potatoes Green beans Corn Biscuits Hoecakes Pinto beans Slaw Homemade cakes!! Oh my!! So good. Now it's in the middle of nowhere so GPS is a must but it's a good eating time when you get there.
