Ordered the combo white plate amd it was delicious. The pork was flavorful on its own. It didn't need more sauce. The fried chicken was tender and juicy. The baked beans tasted homemade. And the hushpuppies -- what can I say? They're a hit. I wish there were more of them in an order. Hostesses came by for drink refills and they were all friendly and caring. My companions got the chicken tenders, another solid choice.
Went in 3 min before closing just to use the bathroom tbh. Realized I was actually hungry and went to order. Working in food service myself, I totally get that 3 min before closing is not it. I asked if there was anything I could order and not be super annoying. The manager was beyond gracious and insisted I could order anything with no worries. I still tried to be sensitive to the hour but I appreciated his genuine kindness. Food was good too!
We just had a pleasant and tasty meal in the Warsaw, NC location. The service was cheerful and fast, and the food was hot and fresh. I especially appreciate having the food served to the table.
