This particular Waffle House was overrun with staff, 12 employees, some of whom were present for a meeting at shift change, but they were so terribly loud that my sister and I couldn't hear each other from across the booth table and were frustrated by cursing, screaming, and gossip.
We had a great experience! The servers were very kind and polite. We got our food almost immediately after we ordered it and it was delicious. The restaurant was very clean and the music was good but a bit loud.
We had a party of 7 so 2 of us sat at the bar. From there we had an up front view of the staff working on orders. We were there right in the middle of lunch on a busy Saturday. The food was delicious as usual. But we were mesmerized watching how fluid the staff were when working together on orders! There were 3 cooking (with 2 of them plating) plus 1 calling the orders.
