Small portion appetizer, 3% credit card fee.The food is really good. My eggplant parm was a little bit al dente, but really tasted good. The calamari appetizer was $15, or 3/4 the price of a full entree. I’m not exaggerating when I say we got 1-1.5 cups of calamari. We were a table of three and we each ate 3-4 pieces. It was very disappointing.Lastly, we get the bill and it’s brought to my attention that there is a 3% charge for using a credit card. I can’t help but feel I wasted $15 on an app, and was then hit for another $3.It was a really tasty meal, but I don’t feel like I got much value for my money. It’s a shame, it wasn’t my first visit, but will likely be my last.

We love Capriccis in Waxhaw. One of our favorites. We went tonight and had an amazing shrimp scampi garlic bread and also the special chicken dish. Best ever. White balsamic dressing is the most amazing ever on salad. Our go to place in Waxhaw. Highly recommend.

Very disappointed in this restaurant. Our pasta was so overcooked it was mushy, and to top it off the sauce was burned. It took us both a couple minutes to figure out what the odd taste was, but it was definitely burned sauce. The service was so bad we didn't even bother to send it back. We just wanted to get out of there. I don't know how they are able to stay in business with this kind of food. Their name is "True Italian", these people don't know what true Italian is.

There are a lot of Bourbons choices here. The food is decent, but I think the best choice on the menu is the New Haven style pizza. Nicely charred crust everything is served hot. The atmosphere is open, not cozy, but acceptable. They do a lot of take out business.

Exceptional all the way. Hosted my granddaughter's birthday here, and the staff was wonderful. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere is elegant but cozy. We enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely come back again to celebrate or just have dinner. Crab cakes were my personal favorite.

I tried this place out for the first time and I am quite disappointed. The table was so dirty and the salad was so old with dried cucumber and lettuce. The main entrée quality and taste was not worth the price they charged. I would never go back.

This is a small Italian restaurant that will not disappoint. This was our family's first visit, and we will definitely return. The menu had a wide variety of choices for all the eclectic likes of our family. Everything we ordered was fantastic, and the service was on point.

Ordered through Doordash. The Chicken Alfredo- Under seasoned, with less than a chicken tender worth of meat, 2 tiny flakes of panchetta and horrible runny sauce. The Chicken Parm- Overcooked to the point of inedible. Bland sauce and not appetizing.Portion Vs. Price- over priced for poor quality and small portions.I expected this to be good due to word of mouth and reviews but I was sorely let down. Bad spot on our Valentines day.Would not recommend and won't go back/order again.

Food was not hot. We sat for over one hour. Potions were smaller than normal. Filet was very tiny and cold and salad was sparse. Use to be good but not any more.

This place is a not so hidden Gem in Waxhaw. This made from scratch Italian boasts family recipes passed down, and you can tell as you taste the food. The prices are on par with the quality. The atmosphere is perfect for date night or taking the family out for a meal.

Nice place and good service. Given the authenticity of the people and the vibe the food was a dissapointment compared to other small Italian places.
