Every time I have had a meal here, it was excellent. The food is always consistent. My favorite restaurant I come from Rock Hill, SC. It is always always worth the trip, and I have been coming for years.

We went to a presentation held on the patio enclosure. It was a cool day so the heaters we on and is was enjoyable.
They brought out 9 different dishes, I recall. There was so much food, it was unbelievable! Impossible to eat everything. Presentation was plates very nice. They even gave us takeout containers for the extra!! Wonderful!
(My only complaints were the chips & dip, the queso chip 2 were very salty. VERY! And they forgot my water. The chicken & waffles over cooked on soggy waffles.)
The Sliders, shrimp, salmon and lettuce wedge were excellent! Love them.
They coffee and half&half tea were great too.

I have been here a couple times prior and had no complaints. i understand cooking for a larger party has its challenges.

Otherwise I highly recommend this place 👍

Phenomenal food and cocktails. It's not a dedicated gluten-free kitchen, but Emmett's has consistently taken great care of my wife who is celiac. We have never been disappointed in ANY aspect of dining here, and it stands as one of our favorite restaurants in spite of being a 30 minute trip for us to get there!

I was excited by the hype of the reviews but the food and service just didn't really add up. We waited an hour and then quite a long time for one of the entrees. The drinks, food plating, and cotton mill interest is nice but the food and bar service were average. Nashville sliders.. rather have Popeyes... So dry although good heat. Shrimp and grits... Shrimp great but so few and grits were under seasoned and very clumpy. Flight dips were a major mouth punch with way too much raw onion or garlic to stomach especially in black bean hummus. Wedge salad needed more dressing. Regretfully not much interest to return although the place was packed so I'm sure others may not have had the same experience. Waitress was nice. Best bite of the night was the pita and carrots. Trendy but not impressed.

Citrus vinaigrette is to die for. Kale yeah, green tomatoes, figgy flatbread and crab cakes. All were delicious. Previous visit we had BBQ ribs, salmon and deviled eggs. All were delicious as well. The wait staff is amazingly nice and quick. I even got a kale yeah and extra vinaigrette to go. Love the atmosphere here.

Our BBQ Ribs were very good. The shrimp and grits was served hot ,and the grits were prepared properly. The rob sauce was excellent. The basilica vinegar reduction on the salad was excellent.

We love Emmets! Initially hooked by the sadly closed Fort Mill location, we make the drive down to Waxhaw when we can for both date nights or with the kids.
The menu items are unique, and portions are perfect to enjoy multiple items. We have tried a lot of the menu and never let down. Good cocktails. Service is always great. We’ve had Mike the past two visits and he’s a gem. Tip: the grits are amazing as is, but I like mixing a little of their pimento cheese in.

Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available and has a good variety

Wheelchair accessibility: I don’t remember if a ramp up front, but don’t believe any steps entering through the covered patio door on the other side.
