Shout out the good folks at Grits! Rolled in there with a group of 13 Cub Scouts after a rainy camp out. They were very accommodating in taking care of us, moving tables / seats around and such. Food was very good. I ordered the Shipwreck. Would recommend for down home cookin’ and small town hospitality.

Driving into work at a Local ER, realized I hadn’t gotten food. Passed by Grits went in and ordered BLT with egg and bacon, side of green beans, peach cobbler, side of (not sweet) coke slaw that was delicious. As I waited for my food lookingaround the quaint restaurant (I did plug in the x-mas tree and the window lights BTW). I saw a wall of Heroes and took my time looking at it until the owner walks my way with a spoon,. Immediately I was like, ok now what we got here… meatloaf sample , fresh out the oven, followed by squash Casserole then Mac n cheese, all different samples like your Mom would give you in her Kitchen..Touched my heart, and my belly..Great place, great people, great food, Hospitality off the charts..Thank you for reminding that there is still Love and Pride in the World.God Bless your Husband..RPParking: AMPLE parking

Good food and good service. Very small seating area. Small menu on a wall board, but what I eat was very good. I will try it again when in that area.

Went to Grits today for lunch. I got the Hamburger steak, okra and potato salad. The Hamburger steak and Okra came out hot. The potato salad was very good. The hamburger steak and okra were excellent. My wife got country style steak and peaches. She enjoyed it as well. We both got pineapple cake for dessert and decided that we would take that home for later. The place is small with just a few tables but the staff is very friendly. Will definitely return again.
