After visiting two other spots we came across Vera's family restaurant which was a great stop! We found the restaurant to be clean and busy. Joshua was excellent with us answering our questions and talking with his customers who's very polite and friendly. Husband ordered the club and I got the turkey (they added a piece of pepper jack cheese). Both sandwiches came with fries and we found them to be very tasty. If you're lost for a place to eat, stop in here. They're open till 3:00 so it's just breakfast all day or lunch ... enjoy.

My experience at Vera’s was amazing! Norah was my server and took such great care. Big shoutout to her! The whole staff was incredibly kind and hospitable, and the food was delicious for a great price. They have shirts that say “Vera’s Kitchen Is My Second Home” and they absolutely live up to it!!

A great little spot. I enjoy grabbing lunch there from time to time. They have great burgers. The only sad part is they aren't open for dinner but I am glad I can enjoy breakfast or lunch from time to time.

“5” Star experience, and here is why: Wow! Such a warm and welcoming greeting by the sweet lady in the dinning room - was she “Vera?” I do not know … however, this is exactly how a paying customer should be received. This is SO IMPORTANT! The young man serving us was attentive and polite. The food was prepared accurately, quickly, and the quality was excellent (pancakes, eggs, toast, fruit, coffee. Good value! The restaurant is meticulously clean, again, so important! Glass door and windows, tables, floors, men’s room, and even the cooking area (yes, I took a look).
My wife and I dine out often, we recently retired and live in Waxhaw, we are first time patrons, and we will be adding Vera’s to our breakfast out - rotation. 10 am arrival (transaction: 128410). Final note: the other young lady in the dinning room serving her customers was outstanding in every way! I was close enough to witness her efforts as well.
Vera, if you are out there you are executing perfectly. Congratulations!
