The best croissants ever. Worth every dollar and the wait. My kids won’t accept any other croissant because they know this bakery as having “the good croissants.” Even toddlers know good croissants! The iced praline latte is also amazing. It’s our weekly treat 🩷

I visited this place with my family after it was recommended by close friends, excited to try their pastries and bread. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely unpleasant.
Upon entering, we approached the counter, where an employee was assisting two women. When we attempted to step into the small service area, another employee asked us to wait a moment and made a subtle hand gesture signaling us to stop. That was fine; we understood the space was limited and waited patiently.
Shortly after, we noticed the same employee who asked us to wait sat down at a table with a laptop right next to us, near the door. So far, no problem. The issue began when two new customers entered the shop, and this same employee cheerfully invited them to step ahead of us, as if we weren’t even there. We were completely baffled and thought to ourselves, “What just happened?”.
We felt ignored and disrespected. At that point, we decided to leave. Only as we were walking out did this employee finally notice us and ask what we needed. I’m sorry, but it was too late by then.
After reading other reviews, I realized this wasn’t the first time something like this has happened. Perhaps the service is more welcoming to regular locals. The most frustrating part is that I live in Waxhaw, so technically, I’m a “local” too.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place and hope they improve how they treat customers, as the first impression was terrible.

I love this place! I’ve been probably ten times and have always been happy with the food, the people and the atmosphere. The bagel bombs are my favorite and the chocolate croissants are awesome too. The coffee is solid as well! Most of all, the people who work there are so kind and helpful. ❤️

It's the absolute best bakery I've ever tried! Their lamination is unmatched! The danishes, croissants, cruffins, all so tasty. I always have to get a slice of their blueberry coffee cake as well. We are here weekly!

I travel quite a bit for work and try to always find a local bakery to quiet down my growling stomach. This has, hands down, been one of the best places I've been to. The hype is real. The staff was so lovely and the pateries were divine. I just devoured the pumpkin cruffin. It was like fall and a hug all wrapped up in a pretty teal box. I'm excited to keep trying my box of treats as the days go on. This will be a must stop for me whenever I am nearby.

Not only are the baked goods delicious, but the staff here is really lovely. I used to take my special needs little brother here. He loved it and the workers always took time to be really sweet to him. They heard that he passed away and the next time I dropped by the bakery they sent me home with a TON of baked goods to share with my family. It was unbelievably kind and we were very touched. Definitely worth trying their food and supporting these wonderful people.

This place is a gem! It’s one place I always bring guests from out of town and they’re always clamoring to come back. In fact, one friend brought several loaves of stuffed sourdough and focaccia on her flight back to Naples, FL so she could share with her family! I come here regularly and could eat here daily if it weren’t dangerous for my pocketbook and my wasteline.
I recently had a little hiccup with an order of bread (so rare) and msg’d them, and they immediately rectified the situation. Then the sweet staff went above and beyond and insisted I have a cookie on the house as well. Totally unnecessary but their chocolate chunk cookies are divine sooo I couldn’t turn down the kindness. This is one of my favorite places to eat in the area and the best bakery hands down. I hope they never leave!
Fantastic sourdough! I like mine sour! This is finally what I have been looking for. The wonderful treats in the shelves looked fantastic. I'll try some of those the next time.

This is hands down the best bakery I have ever been to!! I am new to the area, and visited awhile back, and was extremely impressed! Everything we ordered was phenomenal. I loved it so much I had to come back and bring my family who was visiting this past weekend. The staff is kind, coffee is delicious, and the pastries are amazing. Just make sure you get there early if you can, if you are looking for something specific! Especially on the weekends.
