As someone who is retired military, I have had baked good from North America, Europe and Asia. Virtuoso Breadworks is without question the best I have ever had.

The most amazing pastries and coffee ever. VERY disappointed with service. We placed a large order for a birthday party to be picked up at 9:30. Got there at 9:30 and there was a line out the door as expected on a Saturday morning. I walked to the counter to pick up my prepaid order and was told I had to wait in line. Had to wait 25 minutes in line to be handed boxes of pastries sitting prepped on the counter ready for me. Got to the party 25 min late. Poor service. No common sense.

Great sweets / baked goods.

The drip coffee is very acidic. Do not buy. Coffee in general is overpriced.

If we come again I'll try a latte But if these prices wow....

This was my first time here. They open at 6.30am and when I come back I will be getting there as close to that time as possible. Their amazing baked goods rotate so if you want something specific you best get there when they open. I got there around 8.30 and the place was mostly full inside of patrons enjoying their goodies and a line. It took about 20plus minutes, but it was worth the wait! We had their signature sourdough bread, a raised donut(AMAZING), a pumpkin mocha cream cheese muffin(to die for!!), a chocolate chip cookie(good), a savory cruffin(O.M.Goodness, so yummy), and a couple flavored lattes(very, very good). This place is absolutely worth getting up early for and the 25 min drive, hands down!!

Blueberry muffin was probably the worst I've ever had. It tasted like a bran muffin all the way until the very last bite that had a different texture and finally some flavor; lemon and blueberry I think. Would have been better if the whole muffin tasted like the last bite in the center.
Pumpkin chocolate muffin was good.
Chocolate babka was good.
2 muffins and a small babka for about $25... not good.

I love the bakery and the food. Everything is amazing and tastes good. Just one thing. I wish they had focaccia bread and sourdough bread hourly. There are days I come in and they don’t have any bread options and say it’ll be ready at around 11pm, or some days I’ll come in and they will be sold out sooooo early which then I am never able to get bread at this bakery. It’s very frustrating when you drive out to the bakery and they don’t have what they say they are supposed to have.

Delicious local coffee spot, the cortado was about average however the pastries are a must try. It was fresh light and flavorful. The only thing I wish they would do is label the pastries so we wouldn’t have to ask what it is. Overall, I would try them again.

I love all the treats at Virtuoso! I live out of state and do not have a bakery to this excellent standard at home. The bakery uses quality ingredients and puts a lot of love in their products. My sister Carrie introduced me to this extraordinary bakery. I have enjoyed all of the pastries, pies, breads, but my favorite is the oatmeal raisin cookie. My daughter loves the bagel bombs and requests them when we visit. Thank you for your kindness and your goodies have become a tradition at our family gatherings.

Without question the best bakery around! The topped focaccias and signature sourdough are my staples, and I’ve never had a pastry that wasn’t decadent perfection savory or sweet. My go-to bakery to impress out of town guests. Several of which needed to take breads and pastries on their flights home with them.

If they have a topped focaccia, get it. You won’t be disappointed. Honestly, you won’t be disappointed with anything they have. Coffee cakes. Cheese danishes. Pretzel croissants. Chocolate almond croissants. Even a simple brioche donut. It’s all fantastic and made with excellence. Don’t get me started on their coffee. It’s divine. And all the syrups are made from scratch. I’m spoiled to their vanilla. And if you come regularly, they will learn your name and preferences. Fabulous experience all around!
