Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

We went here today and ordered 2 kids hotdogs and 1 adult hotdog meal in the drive through. I pulled around to the window to pay and the guy there acted like he had no idea why I was there. I said I had just ordered and needed to get my food. He asked me what I ordered and when I told him he said "oh we're actually out of hotdogs". I said that I shouldn't have been allowed to order something they didn't have. He told me he had no record of my order. 🙄 Was hoping this place would improve but sadly it has not.

The waitress was friendly and I felt sorry for her.,I really liked this place when it first opened but has went down hill. The last time I went I said I would not go back. But I did today. They were out of chicken tenders, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, onions, ranch and steak sauce. Yes I’m being serious. It became comical. My kids said this is redicolus. Don’t know who operates this store but they want be open long like this.

We were in the drive through for 20 minutes waiting until someone came and too our order the we wanted another 10 minutes until another person came and did not have our food preparado and forgot this was not a great expirience

My partner and I visited the Hwy 55 burger joint in Weaverville and were thoroughly unimpressed. The experience was subpar and not worth the investment. We placed our orders, but the food failed to impress. Our drink cups were unusually small. Our waitress took our order, refilled my partners drink, and abruptly left with her purse without explanation. We had to flag down another staff member for drink refills and the check. Overall, our experience was disappointing, and we won't return.

Ordered 2 Carolina burgers. Neither had the chili on them, couple of onions, and maybe a half teaspoon of slaw. When asking the waitress about it, she offered to bring more chili and slaw out for us. Came back with slaw and said they were out of chili. This should have been addressed with us before the food was even served. We ordered pimento burgers to begin with and were told they were out of pimento cheese and no tator tots. Our first time eating here and will be our last. Priced to high for what you get. Our server was very sweet, kind, and tried to be as helpful as she could considering the circumstances. I thing the management needs to look into things or this place is going to not make it on their poor reviews. I was in fast food management for 10 yrs. and never would have even sent those burgers out with half the contents missing.

Burger was not worth 13 something dollars.They were out of several items so not many choices. I will not be back.

Wanted to try out a new place and thought this might be good. Walked in and it was unclear whether you order at the counter or you sit down and they take your order. We sat down and waited for 15+ minutes with no sign of anyone coming to take our order so we walked up to the counter to order. We were told to sit back down at a table and someone would come and take our order. After another ten minutes a man finally came to take our order. It took another 15 minutes for our food to come and we had to remind the man for our drinks and sauce. The food was hard, not very warm, and unflavorful. We didn’t even get our sauce till we had already finished our food. There was a female server running around and apologizing and trying to get people their food but the man was just standing around and had a bad attitude. They were out of a ton of things as well. Overall not worth spending money there for the food or the experience.

This place needs to get it together. Deserves a negative star if possible. Came here once, have of the menu wasn't even available due to supplier issues. Waited 30 minutes for 2 burgers. Gave them the benefit of the doubt. Thought I'd try again over a month later. On the second trip, the cone wasn't removed from the drive through after they opened. Pulled around through the drive thru, seen about seven employees inside several of which saw me sitting in the drive-thru. Not a single one came to the window after 5 minutes. Went inside, stood at the counter were the manager on duty was at, he seen me and instead of getting he carried on doing something under the counter for 5 minutes. When he was ready to acknowledge I wanted to order, they were again out of the very thing I went there to try, which was a pimento cheese burger. It's one of their staple burgers. So I left. Not going to waste my time going here again.

They were pretty busy when we came in. Chance did awesome though. The food was delicious & I loved the car kids meals. We will be back! ❤️

They were out of more than a few items so I settled for a basic burger, fires, and a root beer. I've had worse burgers, but not much worse. There was a lot of gristle in the ground beef and it tasted like an institutional cafeteria burger in the worst kind of way. Bland, poorly seasoned, with just a hint of rancid oil. The fries were cold and rock hard and again slightly rancid. Like they don't clean the grills and fryers every night. They also forgot to bring my drink and ketchup. At least my food arrived quickly.

I don't think I'll be going here again.

Honestly I've been at better highway 55s and this one was disappointing, they got orders wrong twice with my group, crew honestly looked like they didn't even wanna serve us guys in uniform, but it's alright won't visit again, only reason it isn't one star is because I understand the area is in disarray due to the recent flooding, but other than that just genuinely disappointed. Even took longer for them to serve one of us a burger too, it took them 20 minutes for one.

food was decent but we placed the order at the window, was told to pull around and park. 35 minutes later someone comes and asks if we’re waiting on anything so we repeat the order. 15 minutes later someone else asks the same question. fries and onion rings were old and unseasoned. there was a hair in the box and im not one to complain but I really want this place to work out for more than 6 months.

Burnt dry burger , out of ketchup but didn't find out til taking food to go. How do you make a double only ketchup without having ketchup? No change for a $20. Listen to the reviews and stay away
