The people are very nice and the service is great. Terrific pharmacy employees!
friendly neighborhood pharmacy . . . . reminiscent of a time gone by.
Prescription Pad pharmacists and other staff were amazing during hurricane
Helene when other pharmacies were closed for days. Somehow they figured out how to provide very necessary prescription medications without phones or internet. Dedication, perseverance, and professionalism matter- especially in these chaotic times.
Prescription Pad of Weaverville helped me when my parents' pharmacy closed during Hurricane Helene. The staff there worked long hours to accommodate everyone in line for regular and emergency refills. We were so happy with the service that we changed to PPW permanently. Thanks, everyone!
I went out of my way to go to Prescription Pad because of the reviews. Said it was super personable but that was only some occasions. Some people that work there are. For 9 months I have been paying out of pocket for our medications there and also not being able to use Good RX to take money off of the Rx's because they said Good rx will steal our info. That being said I switched all the medications over to another pharmacy where I can use good rx and it is much closer to my home. My child's Dr. Canceled all Refills at that pharmacy and sent all my prescriptions to the new pharmacy. Prescription Pad goes out of their way to write a note to the other pharmacists that I can not fill a prescription till a certain date. This is for my 10 year old daughter. Which makes no sense because the whole time I am at their pharmacy they never once said it's too early to fill a prescription because they just wanted the money but now they go out of their way to make it so I have to go to my new pharmacy 3 separate times to pick up my child's prescriptions. The pharmacist at the new pharmacy said I'm not sure why she wrote this specific note but the medication is for adhd and it's a controlled substance so I have to go off of what the other pharmacists wrote. They should be ashamed of themselves to make it difficult for me to pick up prescriptions that my daughter clearly needs. If I never have to deal with pharmacists ever again I wouldn't and I'm taking her to a naturalapathic Dr. I swear pharmacists think they are God. I switched all the meds over so I can pick them up all at one time, at a lower price and a shorter distance. I'm sorry you lost a customer but holy crap get a frigin life. Go reflect on how not to be a Karen.
Im very pleased with the service I recieved from the prescription pad staff. The service and staff have been the most helpful and kind.My last pharmacy was nowhere near as accommodating as prescription pad. Thank you prescription pad!
Born and raised in Weaverville, I called to see if the Weaverville Pharmacy “The Prescription Pad” had a medicine available, they did, I asked if they could get my prescription transferred to their pharmacy and they refused. They asked me if I had any other prescriptions currently held at their pharmacy, to which I said No. The reason I was given was that they would be losing money on this particular medication if they filled it for me. I have private insurance and have never had this kind of interaction with any pharmacy before. Bad Business, if they knew me personally would they have filled it? Seems unfair.
Tricia Cody stayed 30 mins past closing on Christmas Eve to work with my insurance company on the phone so I could fill my prescription! Talk about outstanding customer service!! She and the other pharmacists in Weaverville are the absolute best! And always have smiles on their faces. Love them!!!
The night before Thanksgiving, I was waiting for an antibiotic for my sick child. We had been seen right before the office closed for the long weekend and somehow the prescription hadn't been received by the pharmacy. The pharmacist and technician spent a long time and made several phone calls but were able to track down the prescription and get it filled for us before the long weekend! I can never express my gratitude for their kindness and hard work during a stressful time for us. We definitely wouldn't have gotten this kind of service with a big box pharmacy!
Love shopping local! Very quick refilling prescriptions, get a text when ready and price. And they'll give a $1 coupon when you get vaccinated. (walk in fine). Redeem at ice cream Shoppe in store.

At the beginning of this year (2023) switched all my prescriptions to them. Need a flu shot? Just walk in, no appointment needed. Same when we needed a Covid Booster. Want someone to actually answer the phone? Call them with your question, they answer the phone. Want to be greeted like you matter to them? Go to their pharmacy and see their smiling caring faces. They are professional, caring, and so much more. No they don't carry all the knick knacks and stuff that a large chain pharmacy does, but they carry what I need for my medicine cabinet and they have the prescriptions I take.
Prescription pad has been a saving grace for a ministry I work for, they’ve been patient and helpful when transferring about 20 individuals over to their services.
Staff are friendly and professional. Prescriptions are filled quickly and correctly.
Great place with great people. Don’t know why anyone would use a big box store when they can (1) always get a live person that actually answers the phone (2) prices particularly on prescriptions that match chains or are most times even lower
Prescription Pad continues to provide excellent customer service. Staff is always friendly and willing to help out in any way. A special thank you, to Jane, for always going above and beyond. They are truly a small community pharmacy, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my prescription needs!
