Had Southern Smoke cater a wedding and they were awesome. Not only were they nice and helpful, a change I had not seen with many other wedding caterers, I had multiple guests stop and tell me how great they thought the food was. Definitely will use them again if I can!

We asked them to be apart of my moms surprise 50th birthday party and they exceeded every expectation I had. The food was delicious, prepared on time and Mariah and Hunter were MORE than accommodating and helpful to us. And super sweet! Amazing people and the best food I have had in a long time! The sliced chicken, potatoes and Mac and cheese ARE A MUST!!

After a long reflection of my original review, I felt it was appropriate to delete the previous review. It's important to remember that just because my taste in BBQ doesn't line up with someone that prepares it, doesn't mean someone else doesn't like the BBQ prepared that way. In today's world, small businesses start and end so quickly. The restaurant world is at the top of the chart for closures. I remember that it is important to support businesses regardless if they met your expectations (and mine tend to be higher than most). I will say, that my interaction with this establishment may have changed the way I look at reviews. While I still want to remain true to my feelings and observations, I am reminded that I can view establishments from a more strengths based approach. With that said, after a behind the scenes conversation with the owner, I can see there is passion in their work. While some of the meal could use some technique changes in my opinion, that is just as it is... My opinion. In my most sincere delivery, I hope that the community tries this location out.
