Went to Twisted Laurel for dinner. After a short wait of 20 minutes, we were seated. Our server was pleasant and listened well, as she provided everything we asked of her. I ordered the chicken parmesan. It was very good with a tangy marinara. The marinara was not sweet, like you get in most Greek restaurants. They have a nice selection of beers, mostly local breweries. The wine list was sad and short, so I chose a local brew. Unfortunately, we were seated next to a large table that was super loud and inconsiderate. I will come back again, just not on a Saturday night.

Been going there every week for yrs. Last week the hostes was so rude that we left, went down the street a couple blocks, found a cozy place and nice waitress. Doubt if we'll be going back to this place again.

Twisted Laurel is one of my favorite places to go get fresh pasta and pizza. It is located in downtown Weaverville and is surrounded by shops and other places to eat. This is definitely a local spot where people go and everyone I know loves it. The workers do a great job at keeping the wait times down and the vibe in there is very chill, great place to get drinks, food, and catch up with the girls.

Great food, service, & beer selection! The fried pepperoni & cheese curds were delicious. My wife liked the firecracker shrimp Alfredo, but said it had some spice. The Greek platter was amazing as well. I got the combination to try both the lamb & chicken. The chicken tasted like souvlaki & was good, but I favored the lamb. I typically would order an old fashioned, but they did not have large blocks of ice. Given what Helene’s impact on western NC, I was happy to see this restaurant thriving & folks in good spirit. This place is a gem for the community, and I highly recommend.
What has happened to one of our favorite restaurants? The last three times we visited from Burnsville, we were totally disappointed. This past Sunday we went there with some out-of-town visitors. The large wings were skimpy, dry, and not very good. The sandwiches had hardly anything on them and tasteless. The fries were cold and shriveled. Your signature pizza had hardly any meat nor cheese, even though we ordered extra cheese. The service was lousy and embarrassing for our guests. Not how we want to spend $100 on dining out!

Found this place while I was working in Spruce Pine, NC helping to restore power. The bartender was amazing. Service was absolutely top notch and the food didn’t disappoint either. I got the traditional Greek plate and fried beer cheese curds (I think that’s what they were called) both were delicious.

Okay, got to understand, here in Western North carolina, we are still in disaster mode. Our infrastructure was severely undermined from Hurricane Helene with the flooding and wind damage. I-40 into and out of Tennessee is washed away along with several other roads, so getting deliveries is super hard. Our area is one of the first parts to open up, and everyone is ready to go out to a restaurant! Blue Mountain had over an hour wait, and Twisted Laurel had about a 30-minute wait, we went to Twisted Laurel. Y'all know by now, I need gluten-free. Now. I take a chance any time we go out to eat. Our waitress was really quick to grab drink orders and then our food orders. I was alternating between the pasta, either meat sauce or alfredo, and the chef salad. I got the pasta with meat sauce. The pasta is cooked to al denta in separate water. Wasn't mushy at all!! Yay!! The meat sauce was very good and the right amount of seasonings. The waitress, come to find out, was also manning the bar. She was busy!! All in all, the service was good, the food was great, and the company was amazing!! I didn't get sick, and I ate the whole freaking bowl! They just didn't have any gluten-free bread, dang it!! But hey, I can't have everything!!! BTW. I didn't take a picture! Sorry!!
Dietary restrictions: Had lots of options for gluten-sensitive, dairy free, and vegetarian.

Went down for the weekend while visiting some close family, the service and atmosphere was amazing however the calamari was left to be desired, After finishing our dinner and heading home for the night, I was left with a nauseated feeling. my friend who also had the calamari expressed the same sense of discomfort. Other then that great place.

Just finished dinner with my boyfriend and our dog, Olsen. First dinner of our getaway from Charlotte! The hostess, Ruby, sat us immediately with menus, including a doggie menu (aww!). Our server, Erin, was awesome. Food was fast and delicious. We plan to be back for sure.

My first time to Twisted Laurel even though I've heard of it a lot. It was Friday at 5pm, so they were just starting to get busy. I got Mahi Tacos and they were great. My server was great. The wine was good. Service was well paced and I had a quick, nice dinner with no complaints.

Food was good but a wedding party came in and commandeered the bar so getting a drink took about 15 minutes. Our server lacked enthusiasm and once we said no to dessert she was done with us.

The food was good, however the French fries and chips had some serious spice going on. The place can get noisy with the high ceiling and industrial look happening. It was worth stopping in and giving it a try.

Huge menu, great people, really cool atmosphere, and delicious food! Anybody can find something to eat at this place. Philly cheesesteak is to die for, pasta dishes are delicious, appetizers are vast, and salmon is some of the best I have had. Best place in Weaverville; check it out!
