Best place ever for you and your pups. Period.

If you don’t come with doggies, it’s free, but if you love it like we do ask about the monthly pass. Honestly, I was not a big fan of dogs until we started coming here with our relatives. It changed my mind!
The dogs are super friendly: some just want to lie on the tables with their people while others are in a high speed group or playing in the water or in the separate hill with its own picnic tables.

Love the staff. They all love dogs, know their names, are really good at maintaining a happy playground. With a dog that might be difficult to get back into the car, I’ve seen the staff walk out to the car with an elderly owner.

Rotating taps are top flight local craft brews, but they also have soda and herbal bevs in cans.

Trivia, music trivia, musicians , breed parties, it is a fun place to be.

Bottom line: for a nice time out with your friends, human and dog, this is the best greater Asheville has to offer.

Disturbing the peace. During nice evenings it’s nice to have the windows open, but not when the Wag Bar is open. We can hear every word and lyrics amplified from there. The dogs barking are an annoyance. We live in the Stoney Brook subdivision. A neighbor called when the Wag Bar first opened to complain. Add the Mulch yard trucks during the day and this part of town is no longer a nice residential area.

A splendid autumn afternoon spent with my beloved English Cocker Spaniel, Polk! Lots of well-behaved dogs in full throttle enjoyment of themselves.
As much of the care of the dogs is the care of their owners with drinks, music on occasion and places to sit and watch the dogs frolic. The staff is skilled at interrupting incipient dog altercations should such occur.

Great place for the dog! Nice selection of beers and nonalcoholic beverages
My only complaint is the Cuban American food truck. Super limited “ Non-Cuban”food and no PORK!! Could not figure out what was Cuban about this place? Good grief what’s wrong with you people?

Got married nearby and had to hit up Wagbar both before and after! Amazing place with fantastic staff.

Pretty neat dog bar just outside of Asheviĺle. It is 100% outdoors with no shade in the main area. There is another smaller section with a few trees that offers some shade. If they added more shade or had an indoor area like Skiptown in Charlotte, it would be five stars.

I was very impressed with the staff checking vaccination records to ensure safety for all dogs. It was spacious. So many shaded areas for the humans. Fun things for the dogs to play. Mine is a swimmer and she was overjoyed to take a dip and run some laps. Had a tasty drink. Bathroom was well kept. And we had a great time. We are trying to decide when we'll go back and sign up for a membership.

We love this place! Our dog especially loves the days when they fill the little pool with water. The staff are friendly and attentive to the dogs. We feel this place is very safe for our pets.

I seriously have nothing but good things to say about this location. Being new to the area, I was nervous about finding a community that I fit into and I quickly found that at the wag bar. No matter what time of day I go, there is always someone there who I jive with. Whether it's over the music playing, the drinks on draft selection, or favorite foods from the food truck that comes by. Everyone is very accepting and quick to welcome you and your dog. They are also very quick to help in times of trouble, even when they hardly know you. Being a parent of little kids also, it provides the perfect escape from a crazy day, or a crazy week, even if it's only for an hour. You don't need to drink to enjoy your time here. They do amazing events, generally with someone who grabs adorable pictures of you and your dogs for free. They are just really good people here, staff and owners. The dogs help too on tough days by providing all the snuggles and pets

Dog-friendliness: My dogs have found some of their best friends here. Most all of the dogs are extremely friendly and love to wrestle and play or just run around
