I seriously have nothing but good things to say about this location. Being new to the area, I was nervous about finding a community that I fit into and I quickly found that at the wag bar. No matter what time of day I go, there is always someone there who I jive with. Whether it's over the music playing, the drinks on draft selection, or favorite foods from the food truck that comes by. Everyone is very accepting and quick to welcome you and your dog. They are also very quick to help in times of trouble, even when they hardly know you. Being a parent of little kids also, it provides the perfect escape from a crazy day, or a crazy week, even if it's only for an hour. You don't need to drink to enjoy your time here. They do amazing events, generally with someone who grabs adorable pictures of you and your dogs for free. They are just really good people here, staff and owners. The dogs help too on tough days by providing all the snuggles and pets

Dog-friendliness: My dogs have found some of their best friends here. Most all of the dogs are extremely friendly and love to wrestle and play or just run around

Wagbar is truly the greatest find for our Snoopy.

Staff is fantastic- everyone is so helpful.
The Wagbar drink bar offers some really good beers, sodas, wine, and hot chocolate/ coffee.

If you love your dog- Wagbar membership is a must.

We and our dog adore this Wagbar!! The staff; friendly, kind, personable, thoughtful, respectful, in charge and watchful over the playful dogs. It is always great to see the staff and visit with them. And they keep the yard tidy and clean! Fresh water is kept available for the pups. The tables and chairs are always clean as are the bathrooms! This place is Disney Land for pups and their people. We have met and made great friends with regulars and their tail waggers! Just good people. People who watch over their dogs as they play and us humans visit. Don't say Wagbar in this house unless we are headed that way as our dog will lose her mind in anticipation of playtime and social time at their favorite spot; The Wagbar in Weaverville!

We love Wag Bar! The venue and staff are wonderful and Wag Bar has become a regular part of our weekends.

Our dog looks forward to coming to play, and we know he’ll be safe because of staff and other owners.

Playground: Good space, and always clean.

Toilets: Always clean.

Dog-friendliness: Staff and other owners are great. If things every seem to get dicey, staff steps in immediately and consistently monitors.

Wagbar is by far is the best dog bar I have ever visited! We are now regulars and go often & enjoy every visit. Visiting Wagbar is our fur babies Indo BlueRidge & Curiy Frye’s highlight of any day! The staff is like family and we love the community vibe. They currently have a great Cuban food truck stationed on site so we always have some yummy food options. You are always welcome to bring your own food too. They have a wonderful selection of local craft beer that changes frequently. They have daily/monthly events that are so much fun! We HIGHLY recommend visiting Wagbar! You will not be disappointed!

Dog-friendliness: Most dog friendly off leash dog bar ever!

I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STARS IF I COULD! THE OWNER WILL DO WHATEVER HE WANTS WITH YOUR DOG NO QUESTIONS ASKED. A random guy picked up my puppy and held him in his arms. I'm cool with petting but I'm not cool with picking up my dog without asking first, it's my personal boundaries with MY PUPPY. When I told the random guy to put my dog down he was so shocked and hurt by it. Apparently everyone there is entitled to do whatever they want with your dog without question. I walked away with my puppy immediately but he proceeded to heckle me by saying this place isn't a good fit for me and to stop being aggressive, as I was walking away... I explained to him my boundaries and that's when the random guy informed me HE WAS THE OWNER. He again told me to stop being aggressive (I was not, I was calmly standing my ground on my boundaries) and told me finish my food and get out. Unless you have zero boundaries with your dog and don't care how the OWNER immediately gaslights you for stating your boundaries, do not go here. It's sad I was treated this way for being protective over my puppy and disrespected for having a voice.

The owner's response is proving a point that he did and continues to gaslight me for having boundaries and lying saying I was aggressive. It's really sad when you tell a grown man no and he starts labeling you as aggressive instead of realizing he's the problem. My point is, this man will do whatever he wants with your dogs, and will heckle you when you say no he's being inappropriate.

I used to love this dog park and have enjoyed bringing my dogs here when we visit North Carolina. The staff has always been lovely and professional, and the park clean and safe. Today we went to the park and showed the vaccination records as we always do, but were asked to call our vet because one appeared to be expired. I tried to call the vet, but could not reach him. I politely asked the girl at the door to check the system as we have entered before so we could enjoy the park with the dogs. The girl (I did not get her name but she has brown hair and a few piercings and a black hat on with glasses) was rude and said she had never seen us there before with an attitude. She was rude, unprofessional, and just not pleasant. She then screamed at me and cursed under the guise of reacting to me being rude. This girl knows nothing of customer service or accountability and should not be the person who greets people at the door.
