Hate the heavy rock music and volume.....the volume worse than the style of music. I'm not some old lady but seriously couldn't talk to my husband during lunch without shouting . Not returning.

Great service, even though HT was busy. Had the seasonal menu's Juicy Lucy burger - WOW, keep that on the regular menu.

My friend and I met for lunch and a chat around noon. The restaurant was virtually empty. The music was blaring. We aren’t fuddy-duddies but we could hardly talk above it. We asked nicely if the volume could be adjusted. “I’ll have to ask the manager”. It was barely lowered once. Twice more we asked, even asked the hostess, with no result. Finally server said the manager said it couldn’t be lowered any more. Seriously? A volume button temporarily lowered to accommodate? Manager did not personally come over. Should have asked. I did write manager a note. We left after quickly eating, with maybe 6 customers total in the place. We will not choose this place again.

Came to Hickory Tavern for the first time tonight and all I can say is Wow, my expectations were exceeded. The food was delicious and our server Kara was amazing, she did a great job. She was very sweet and attentive and able to answer all of our questions. She suggested the spinach dip and it was so good we ended up getting a second one …. LOL. I also got the Chicken & Rice, my husband the Pow Pow shrimp. Sooo good, 12/10. We will definitely be coming back soon and requesting Kara again as our server. Thanks for a great experience, HT!!!

I’ve visited this place a few times with my family, but I’ve never had a server as amazing as Cassidy! Wow! She is hands down the best server I’ve ever had. Despite it being a busy night, Cassidy managed to maintain a positive attitude and a smile while juggling everything. Her exceptional service truly stood out and made our experience fantastic. We’ll definitely be back and Im hoping to be lucky enough to have Cassidy be our server again!

Great experience especially due to our waiter Josh! Gave exceptional service and was so warm, friendly, and fun. Had the Post-Game Combo and buffalo wings- everything was delicious! Will definitely come back and we live in the ballantyne area.

Went there today, 7 of us, to watch the Saints vs Panthers game. The place was packed but our server was still able to get us everything we needed and very timely. She, Natalia, was awesome! The manager, Josh, also stopped by our table several times to make sure we had everything we needed. Very clean and very well run considering how busy they were. Not to mention the food was great!

Had a wonderful experience at Hickory Tavern in Wesley Chapel. Our server, Taylor, was delightful and very knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the pre-game combo platter and it was delish - a little bit of everything. Then we split a Philly cheesesteak with some sweet potato fries and brussel sprouts. So good. And then…the damn apple crunch dessert….changed my life. 10/10 thank you… I will come again soon.
