I tried to put a half star review but that wasn’t an option, I’m currently still at the restaurant and I got here almost 2 and a half hours ago, I ordered my food 30 minutes ago, and when I talked to the waiter about it she said she put it in ten minutes ago, I still don’t have my food and I most likely won’t for another 30 minutes, I ordered 8 wings, don’t know why it takes this long. At least I got em basketball games. I’ve been writing this for five minutes now and the people next to me got here 30 minutes ago and already have there food. Some people started noticing because they came well after us and they even talked to the waiter about how they got here after us and still were able to get their food and leave before us. I’m with a small group of friends. But that shouldn’t be an excuse. If I get my food then I’ll try and make another review, this place is running out of time though, I might leave soon.

I absolutely love coming here with my family! We drive 30 minutes out of our way to come to this location for the servers (Alicia) and manager (Melissa). They are a godsend on game days and the food is always perfect. I can’t recommend this location enough, we come here weekly and love it every time!!

Food was average at best. Dry corned beef on Rueben. $72 for 2 Ruebens, 1 six piece chicken wing, 1 homemade potato chip, 2 cokes, 2 teas. Service was VERY SLOW. Won't go back. Way overpriced!

I would have a better review but for a sports bar they have more than half of their 30+ TVs tuned to ESPN. Fine and great except it plays nothing but commentary with minimum sports coverage and without volume. Can we turn the rest of them to The View also, just as entertaining. Excellent service and great food their only saving grace.
Food was okay.If you are blessed with good genes and don’t look your age, they want to see you birth certificate. I took my employees to dinner after work, try to get a beer, manager straight up told me, my id was fake, and she didn't believe that I’m 31….. so I’ll be going back be petty and show her my passport.

I had a less than satisfying experience at Hickory Tavern. The Coke lacked syrup, the sesame seed bun was messy, tater tots were unappetizing, me and two people in my party got sick. The brownie lacked ice cream, and no one asked about a refill. Overall, not the best dining experience.

Absolutely disgusting let's not talk about that. I ordered extra steam, broccoli but got broccoli hard as a rock drenched in grease all taste was grease and soggy chicken tenders

Have been coming to HT since we moved to Weddington, and consistently like the food and ambience. The menu has recently changed, and some of our favorites have been removed from the new menu :-(. But a huge shout out to our server Chloe! She was perhaps the BEST server we've ever had! She was prompt, attentive and just wonderful. Thanks Chloe for making dinner great tonight! Hope we see you again.
