After seeing JM’s desperate response to discredit my 1st version of this review, I’m amending it.??? The responder claims I (the reviewer) have a son, “Timothy Leigh,” who was terminated and am an upset mother (to attempt to discredit my review), AND they excuse “Jon’s” horrible behavior because he was “new” *10 months ago and from NY (? is that an excuse? I know pleasant New Yorkers!) in Phileca’s post. So, read Skyler’s post 7 months ago, CJM’s post 8 months ago, and Philecia’s post 10 months ago.” The older manager in their posts (whom the responder calls “Jon,”) has NOT been “addressed” (2, and 3 months after being “new”), and apparently won’t be now, judging by their excuses for him. And I have no, “Timothy Leigh,” relative who has been terminated from JM’s. This is a desperation tactic to discredit a legitimate reviewer with legitimate complaints that have been made numerous times by numerous other reviewers before me.“Jon” is still there being sarcastic and unpleasant with us customers, (as previously shown in others’ reviews), and it is loud and obvious when he browbeats the young people who work there. He makes demeaning remarks to his employees (mostly young people, probably many of them teens… as Skylor pointed out *7 months ago). If they make a simple mistake, he demeans them. It’s totally unacceptable. Not to mention, you can read the room when he’s there, feel the tension, and grasp that probably most of the mistakes being made are likely from anticipating his version of “management.” When people are nervous, they make more mistakes. It’s a no brainer! In addition to what I’ve experienced personally, one day I walked out side-by-side with another customer who had been in line next to me and he commented under his breath that he’d “like to teach that guy a lesson about how to treat the kids who work for him.” (Kinda like the other customer in Skylor’s review who refused service till Skylor was treated and served appropriately). I feel so sorry for those young people he rules like a spoiled, grumpy dictator. It’s an EXTREMELY unpleasant atmosphere, having to experience, see, and hear customers being invalidated and young people working there being mistreated and having to apologize for their manager’s rude, sarcastic remarks to customers and to them, while trying to pleasantly serve customers. I’ve also seen other customers with looks of disapproval and disgust on their faces while in the store when the manager acts out with an employee. When this “Jon” guy isn’t there and the younger managers are leading the team, the whole atmosphere changes: it is relaxed, pleasant, and cheerful. Shows what a difference pleasant leaders can make! Must be the younger managers working the during the days service reviews are good, like the reviewer who reviews a manager named “Taylor.”If this Jon guy is the kind of Sr. manager the owner chooses to put over the employees, defends to the death, and justifies in negative reviews, then that also says a lot about his/her poor hiring skills and poor judgement about what makes a good leader! Makes you wonder if this Jon guy is a relative or friend to the owner that they tolerate him? Or if this is the kind of leadership they endorse? Good leaders put their employees at ease and motivate them through their own positive attitude (for starters), and by exemplifying good team work, not through angry control tactics. The food is “OK,” but it’s not worth the disgust of being snapped at, tolerating sarcastic remarks, or seeing young people working there being verbally bullied.Steer clear of this store, (and whoever is making such desperate attempts to discredit legitimate, negative reviews instead of using negative reviews as a means of improving their customer service). If the Sr. manager is the same 10 months later, after numerous complaints… like I said, it says a lot about him, and the owner’s commitment to customer satisfaction. Don’t be intimidated out of leaving an honest review about this guy, by their attempts to discredit legitimate, negative reviews.

I have been to this establishment many times and after the service I received yesterday I wanted to post a review. The staff from management to the employees are beyond my expectations. They do their VERY BEST to ensure every customer is treated with most absolute professionalism. They take great pride and care with their customer service from every sale. If you want amazing quick service, to your catering THIS is the store you need to call. If you have a birthday party, or any sort of engagement that meets quick and easy food this is the place for you. I just wanted to put it out there that this establishment not only has great food, has an enjoyable atmosphere and to top of off their SANITATION rating is exceptional. The first thing I personally always look at is the sanitation score because that means they take great pride and care on making sure the place is clean and up to standards on food safety. Food for thought.

Whenever I go into a new jersey Mike's, I use the staff at this location as my criteria to tell if it's a good location or not. The female manager Taylor runs a very tight ship. Everyone is professional, friendly and efficient no matter how busy it is. I always make sure to come here whenever work allows it. And no one had to do the annoying thing of "don't forget to leave us a review". They're all THAT good that i feel compelled to do it.

Every time I’ve ordered and paid for extra meat and extra cheese I have never received it.I went in to ask them if I really received extra because what I got had about half of the meat I received from any other location and was told “yes, that’s the right amount because ours are higher quality than the other locations so we don’t give as much”. Higher quality than the other CHAIN locations, really? That’s like ordering a quarter pounder, receiving a single cheeseburger, and then being told you get less than every other McDonalds here because ours is higher quality. Don’t get ripped off, patronize a different Jersey Mikes which are otherwise great.I’m tired of complaining and will never visit this location again.

The staff was very friendly and quick to make the subs. Jersey Mike's prices though are ridiculous in my opinion. Especially since you can get the same size sub with more meat at Harris Teeter only 50y away.

Staff looked confused, didn't know how to make sandwiches. Kept trying to add ingredients not asked for. Lettuce was red and pink and yellow. Don't come at 1pm.

I went here July 14 and had a horrible experience. I waited for a long time for my curbside pickup. My 4 year old grabs change in the car and ask if he could give it to the people making sandwiches. We go in, see the order not ready and go to put the change in. The guy who I believe was MOD, comes up to us as if we were about to steal from the jar, I explain what my son was doing and he turns around and goes back to working. I wait another extended time, come back and sit and wait, he comes to me and rudely ask what I am waiting for, I reply an online order, he replies "ok.... does this order have a name." I reply with my first name, he sarcastically asks what the last name. I reply, he points to my order and says "over there". Only for it to be wrong. I explain to him why I will not be returning due to his predjudice, poor customer service and rude attitude. He replies, "Sorry you feel that way". I ask the other patrons their opinions, which all reply, "yeah he's being pretty rude". It was so bad the gentleman next to order refused to be serviced until they fixed my order. The other young man comes to apologize, and then gets blasted by the rude guy. Completely a j*** move. We come to this location frequently, since moving here mid last year to order for my family of 6. If my money is no good here, that's fine, we'll gladly go to Publix where the food is better, and service is superior. The guy never even apologized; his teenage subordinate had to apologize for him. I really hate this because there's this one gentleman that has SUPERIOR customer service, but if I have to deal with the nerdy, dirty looking guy with the glasses, forget it! I'd rather eat grass. The quality of the subs gets worse each time and now I have to deal with rudeness. I think not!

Usually Jersey Mikes is like McDonald's and Chic Fil a. You know what you're to get in terms of quality each and every time. I ate there and for some reason the bread was off. I read another review and I agree that the older gentleman with glasses and brown hair seemed unhappy. I know it's a minor thing but he didn't even ask what type of bread I wanted. I don't know if it was towards the end of shift or what. I would have been better going next door to Harris Teeter and getting one of their subs.
