Ordered, waited 30 minutes never got food. Another customer next to us had been there 45 minutes no food. They’re short staffed. So avoid 12/8. Called tried to cancel order and they wouldn’t “couldn’t”.

The employees are fantastic here. They’re all so friendly, and the food is superb compared to other McDonald’s locations around Charlotte
The cashier is a bad person, is not kind, she is blonde 40 or 50 years old

Drive through, order missing burgers and fried were old. Dont be a dummy like me and not check order before leaving. This place is always hit or miss. A while ago this was the best MCD around now it's at the bottom.

I couldn’t believe it! Not a single bite of food, not even a drop of soda! It was like walking into a black hole where food just doesn’t exist. The service was beyond terrible—like they were actively avoiding feeding anyone. It felt like they were running some kind of experiment to see how long people can survive without eating

I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience at this McDonald’s that left me questioning if I’ll ever return. I ordered food through the McDonald’s app, expecting a quick and easy pickup. However, I ended up waiting over 20 minutes in the parking lot with no sign of my order. When I finally went inside to inquire about the status, I was told by an employee that they had no record of my order. Despite showing them the online receipt and order number, the staff member replied, “we aren’t responsible for the app.”
Instead of helping resolve the issue, the employee directed me to speak with the manager, Mallory. When I calmly explained the situation to her, she seemed immediately frustrated and made it clear that she would only process my order “this one time,” as if she was doing me a favor. This dismissive attitude was disheartening, especially considering I had proof of my purchase.
To add to the confusion, the same employee who claimed my order wasn’t in the system ended up filling it and bringing it out to my wife, who had been waiting outside. While this was happening, Mallory continued to express her frustration, repeatedly emphasizing how busy she was and how many customers she needed to attend to. The entire interaction was uncomfortable and unprofessional.
This experience left a bad taste in my mouth—both literally and figuratively. I will not be returning to this McDonald’s, and I would advise others to be cautious when using the app at this location.

8/28/24 Thursday Morning 9 a.m. Drive through. Order was incorrect. Had to return to get what we wanted and had to pay for it again. Even then the Chicken biscuit filet wasn't fresh, actually looked like day old stuff, cold rubbery tasteless dried out and tough. Not our first bad experience at this location.

I have found that the employee changes your order after you place it. Once you leave the drive through screen, they will add an unauthorized drink upcharge to you order. i know its only $.30 per order, but with all the customers that visit they are stealing hundreds or thousands a day. This has happened every time i order here. I have even clarified when I order I want the listed medium sized combo. The employee will confirm this. I will still get up-charged. If you point it out I have been told they cannot do anything about it since my card was already charged. I will not be back

Just experienced the rudest, arrogant, short spoken gentleman taking order and payment at 1st window. Alternatively, the woman who provided the food at the 2nd food was nice so please don't reflect this poor review on her service.

I honked several times to get their attention at the window to ask for condiments and nothing. Drove around to go in, I had to raise my voice "HELLO" to get the one woman up at the front she was hunched over looking at her phone listening to some music,I'm thinking are you not at work? Why are you not paying attention if a customer walks in for some help. This isn't my go-to McDonald's but was on my way to a meeting I had. Don't waste your time here, Sun Valley McDonald's is way better than this location.
