We had our wedding at Roanoke Country Club and so therefore Georgia Deans was the caterer! I absolutely would recommend them, the staff, and the sweet owner, Stephanie to anyone. The tasting was amazing and laid back, she was so nice about letting my mom & I come in and see all that was available for decorating, and most importantly the food was BOMB. Rehearsal dinner food was 10/10, bridal party getting ready (breakfast and lunch) spread was AMAZING, and wedding food was FANTASTIC. Our friends and family are still talking about how good and nice it was. I have lots of dinners to Georgia Deans planned with friends and family because of the wedding. Elise, Mandy, and Christopher were some of the staff members I remember and they were amazing! I will forever recommend Georgia Deans, Roanoke Country Club & Stephanie! My husband and I love eating there for date nights so it makes it so special that they were a part of such a big day for us!
My first time here 11/15/2024. I should have taken pictures of my food. I ordered the seafood platter. They only offer baked potatoes after 4 pm. So I had the onion rings, which were good. Maybe they should change their menu. The bed was simply awesome
The food was plentiful and delicious. It was cold in there with the fans blowing overhead. So I will be returning another time.

Wonderful gluten-free options. The seafood platter (broiled) was wonderful. The staff is very knowledgeable about gluten free. Don't miss the coleslaw.

Have been back since. Place, the food, the staff, and the venue will not disappoint. Will be returning.
Vegetarian options: I'm not a veggie though. But enjoy veggie dishes.
Parking: Parking surrounds the building.

Wow! Great service, very cool and country atmosphere and amazing food. You can tell they have great ingredients and well thought out dishes. This is definitely a gem. Our group had a bunch of different types of dishes (fried green tomatoes, salad, Deans club, chicken nachos, tacos and even the stuffed scallops) and ALL of the dishes were stellar. I hope we’ll be able to come back here on our next vacation!

Seafood platter and sea scallops appetizer were top notch. Even the Cole slaw and broccoli were as perfect as you can get. Don't expect to leave hungry either. Just a short distance off I-64....if I'm back this will I will plan my trip around a return visit.

We are usually disappointed when we go out to eat. We were not disappointed here! Everything was fantastic. We stopped while passing through. I wish it wasn't over two hours away from us, we would be regular customers. Our waitress Kaylee was one of the best as well. We had Crab dip, steak tortellini, and Cajun pasta. Even their tea was perfect.

This was my first time. My husband drove me two hours away from home to try this place because he and his best friend happened to stop in one afternoon, he has always told me he was taking me when he had time off. After eating his leftovers from there.. I knew why.
The place is not what I expected. From the outside it looks like another white country building. Walking in you get a quite relaxed feeling. I can happily say I made it all the way through a dinner in a restaurant with other people around us and I was not feeling anxious or out of place. Bathroom even have family one, womens cleanest place I seen ,oh and for emergency employees have a jar of products so shout out to owners...yay!
I'm sorry but I don't remember the middle age blonde women who was our superwoman . I ordered the chicken and shrimp pasta with side salad.
I politely informed of tomato allergy.
she politely as it should be .. no tomato on anything.
Yes.
I don't know what they do to the sauce but the cream sauce puts the olive place to shame. The chicken was fork tender and juicy. Oh I added broccoli to mine with an upcharge ,you could tell the broccoli was way over cooked but I still enjoyed the flavor of the meal.
Husband ordered steak with spinach and pasta...not sure of name of it. All I know is for a man to hate spinach, he ate the spinach in this. He only eates ceaser salad so there is an upcharge for that but it is also a bit bigger then the side salad. The bread they offer is ok, I'm just not a bread person. We both ordered sweet tea. Tea had that just the right amount of sugar not syrup and not water and he ordered a painkiller drink. It was a very strong(to me) tropical cream drink..it was good just I don't drink anymore. The amount of food given we both had enough to do takeout boxes ..plus they give you a plastic bag for your boxes.
Already told the husband this place will work for date get aways.

We stopped by on our way to the outer banks. Fairly busy (which was expected for a Friday night) but able to get a pretty quick take away order. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Our bartender was very sweet and made a fantastic margarita. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was very warm and unique. Will definitely stop back by soon.

There's not a lot of dining options apart from chain restaurants in the innner banks but even if there were Georgia Dean would still stand out.
It's affordable, especially compared to the board touristy Edenton restaurants, has a ton of personality, a real bar for cocktails, and a solid menu. The staff is engaged and wants you to have a good time. If you live in williamston you are already a patron. If you're driving through the area, it's worth taking a detour to enjoy.
The bead: amazing. Cowboy Burger was really good and I really enjoyed the onion rings.
