The best of the best … we love every single thing about this place …. The staff are so extremely nice and they don’t hesitate to keep you drink filled , your dirty plates taken up .The food is delicious. All the staff join and pull together to make sure everything runs smoothly. The people in the kitchen do an exceptional job at cooking everything. I have not seen one thing on that buffet bar over cooked under cooked to cold or dried out . They are very attentive to their food . Very nice staff and I definitely recommend this place it’s a 10/ outta 10. That peach cobbler though is exceptional, it’s perfectly cooked every single time . Their cakes are moist and delicious.. The place is immaculately cleaned… throughout. Parking lot the entire place . They have single plates , Chicken salad etc on the menu I was told today… so there’s a lot to choose from even if you don’t want buffet . Go see them … you’ll be glad you’d did … and the prices are right too. Love this new found gem. It’s definitely worth the drive . The young Lady that works there that was our waitress today , helped me get on their fb page , helped me find the review page , her and her sister and their Momma and Daddy work there. She even since me a friend request … the sweetest souls you’ll ever meet . Great Christian family . People like that make you keep coming back.

Fried catfish was best I have EVER had. Pork chop in gravy, flat corn bread. I can't say enough good things, Staff was excellent. Just good people. I found this place by luck driving home from OBX. I will drive back an hour and half just to eat.

We went there last week and were very disappointed! The salad bar use to be a big hit, but there is literally half the amount of things and it's still the same cost. The salad plates are flat which keeps you from not being able to put much on your plate. We got the buffet and it was not worth the $18 we will not be back! The cost for the quality is not great!

If you want southern food and perfect sweet tea, then this is the place for you. My husband had never been there, and we were nearby, so I wanted him to try it out. I told him I'd only ever had the buffet and had never ordered off the menu before - so he checked it out & decided to go that route too. It was pouring rain outside, and it was almost like eating at home. The staff was very nice and we would definitely return if we're in the area again.

Meatloaf Lover!
Meatloaf Tuesday's Are A Must! Granted, all the folks I see piling up their buffet plates love the rest of the buffet, My Favorite Is The Meatloaf!! The salad bar has every item I need to have a perfect salad! Chelsea & Cindy Are Wonderfully Happy Servers who make the NEED to return every possible Tuesday necessary! Now if only *someone* would be brave and add LATKAS to the menu, would be Perfection! :)
the food here has changed. heard they got new owners. don’t waste your money. only 3 vegetables. country style steak was not tender but fatty. no desserts available but that raisin pudding and that’s is NOT good. it ain’t the same hitching post it used to be so sad. and they went up on the buffet. it cost us 17.99 to eat buffet. not worth it. save your money and go elsewhere

The buffet was not that good. They ran out of catfish and the trout was not edible. The chicken was overcooked and dry. The popcorn shrimp and ribs were pretty good. The waitress was nice and did a good job.

I was totally disappointed today, I used to love coming to this place but it has entirely gone downhill. My husband and I went for lunch only to find that they only had a buffet. The chicken was over fried and dry, the southern steak was completely dry and like shoe leather. The salad bar was just ok, not enough selection. In my opinion this place is ruined and I won’t be coming back. Sad very sad!
