Stopped in to check out the BBQ sandwich and ordered 2 with slaw on them. It was placed in a carryout plate with some hush puppies and when I got home 10 minutes later the bread was so soggy, I had to try eating it with a fork. The BBQ to me didn't taste like good southern BBQ. This is based on my first visit here but will go back and try the BBQ ribs out and some of the other foods they have. Okay I'm leaving a second review 7/27/24 came here today about 2:30 and ordered bbq chicken plate with boiled potatoes and green beans. The chicken was so hard and stale and the potatoes was hard around the edges of it like it's been sitting there since yesterday. The green beans were barrable but had a hint of vinegar taste. My grandson had the fried chicken and said it was okay. My daughter had the pork chops and gravy with tator tots. She said she didn't like it and just ate the tots. I think I won't go back here again. Hope this helps out others.

Ordered BBQ, Sausage, Mac & Cheese & Mashed Potatoes from the bar. Every main dish and side was stale, both in appearance and taste. The flounder I ordered was of the thin and extra crispy variety. I cannot recommend this place.

This restaurant, which serves cafeteria style, has the second best ribs I've ever had -- very tender and meaty. They offer a wonderful sweet-and-sour sauce that is excellent with the ribs. There's also a good choice of sides. I try to stop there anytime I pass through the area, and the ribs are big enough that I always end up taking some home.
Parking: Parking is just outside the door. I've never had any problems finding a handicapped parking spot, and there are always plenty of regular spots as well.
Absolutely amazing service and food! Good country cooking and hospitality! Definitely stop by on your travels.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST FOOD IVE EVER ATE!! The food or plate or whatever it is that you choose to eat that very moment, it's a little bit on the pricey side but I swear to God you'll never regret paying about 12 or 14 dollars a plate. Not only that you'll be willing to leave a tip cause the food is so damn good.

This is truly a hidden GEM! Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for the first time while traveling to Virginia. The VERY BEST barbecue I have ever had.... A large selection of sides, excellent hush puppies, and their sauce was fabulous! And their prices are amazing! I will definitely make the two hour trip again very soon. Thank you, Porky's!

In Williamston for Church event, so this was our first time eating here. I must say it was delicious and we will be going back next time we're in the area. Great portion sizes and we could not eat it all. Good thing it was in a take home container. Customer service was very friendly and the prices were reasonable.We are before going to our event, and was so glad to get to eat the rest after the event.I had fried, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes with gravy. My husband had ribs, chicken, buttered potatoes stewed vegetables.chicken was good and the hush puppies were also good. UPDATE:4/26/2024: The food was still just as good as it was on our first visit some years ago. ?

We had the pleasure of eating here this past Wednesday night after our grandkids finished their away game at Riverside Middle School. The food was AMAZING! We enjoyed it so much! The fellowship with the owners and their workers and family was also wonderful! Great food, Great staff and atmosphere.
