Delicious food. Pulled pork was best I've had in the area. Try the egg rolls. And get a piece of cake. Dinner was not too busy but it was Sunday.

One of the best BBQ places around!! If you are traveling through Martin County on the way to the Outer Banks or to Raleigh, it is a must stop!

Incredible authentic NC BBQ. I'm not normally a breakfast person, but I'll eat one of their sausage, egg and cheese biscuits anytime, hungry or not.Their fish sandwich isn't great, but you can't fault a lemonade stand for bad sweet tea. That one is on me.

Easier to make choices from a large menu with cashier's help. Pork barbeque was good with sides but fried chicken was not freshly cooked. Fried herring was better than expected. Definitely worth another visit to sample more of the menu.

Food was less than desirable. I guess it's because you used the $1300 in sub-par food that you absconded from Walmart with. Yup, things must be going real fast.

We stopped into Shaws for a couple of barbecue sandwiches. We were served a sloppy wet mixture of pork and grease on a bun. The barbecue had little to no seasoning and tasted like a live pig smells. We threw them away. I am being generous with one star.

Dang, I wanted to like it. Maybe I'm just getting the wrong thing. I got bbq chicken the last two times and I don't pick up any grilled or smokey undertones. I will go back but I'm going to try something else.

This is another must hit when in town. Had breakfast one day and lunch twice. Bbq and chicken are really good!

Absolute gem. 12 out of 10. Lovely folks, delicious and well seasoned BBQ. Kids loved the Mac & Cheese (so did we) and they have lots of reasonable options for two toddlers. Love the outdoor area - kids got to stretch their legs and play while we waited. Food came fast - slaw, bbq, potato salad, green beans, hush puppies all delightful. It’s just 3 min off our normal route from Raleigh to OBX and I’m so happy we found it! Perfect halfway stop.Kid-friendliness: Absolutely family and kid friendly. Would be a great stop with dogs too.

Were out of signature pork and sauce due to holiday. Chopped BBQ was tasty as a substitute.
