The best restaurant in Wingate. Top quality food. I've had the beef chimichangas and Pollo con queso. This restaurant has been my go to for Mexican food in Union county. Fast service pleasant place to eat. I usually get takeout, it's just easier for me.

My wife and I did take out from here. The gentlemen that greeted and took my payment was very kind. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the Arroz con Pollo and ordered a side of refried beans. It was so good. My wife got the Nachos Pelenque. She loved it as well. We will definitely be back.

I was super disappointed to learn that they don’t serve barbacoa. I ordered the mixed taco plate, with 2 chicken tacos and 1 carnita. The chicken was over salted. And I was disappointed to see that it was grilled chicken and not pulled chicken. The flour tortillas fell apart very easily, and were very greasy. My partner got the birria tacos, the meat was good but the consome was lacking extreme flavor. It was thin, lacking flavor and didn’t have that usual delicious thick, meaty flavor. Not to mention it was super expensive at almost $5 per taco. Although, the service was great, we had a very attentive and sweet waitress. I’m reluctant to say that I’ll be choosing Chuyita next time.

This restaurant is a good choice for Mexican food. The food is among the best I've encountered in the Monroe area and prices are about average. There is a bar and it has outside seating.
That food is trash. So bland, the aquas frescas taste like kool-aid….
Steak fajitas were great! Love their salsa.
