“An awesome place for craft beer and a wonderful atmosphere“

“Please read everything - I want to be sure everyone gets a solid understanding about Marlins and what about it. First you need to know that's its a private club in which you can very easily get a membership by walking in and asking for one from the bartender. They don't serve food, just alcohol so by law setting up a private club is necessary. That would be the most intimidating part BUT otherwise the best part is going in and having a place where nothing else matters. You get a drink and socialize. It's a small cozy bar where sitting in a corner by yourself really aint an option. You're going to meet people because that's Marlins. I leave it to you to describe how the vibe and atmosphere is but it just sticks with you. You'll be back again!“

“This is one of my favorite places to go on the weekends. The atmosphere is great, pool tables are kept in good shape, and the bartender's are pretty knowledgeable about the drinks. I especially enjoy when they have live bands play. It seems like it livens the place up. I would highly suggest to anyone to check it out for themselves, and not to judge a book by it's cover.“

“If you have or have not gone to Latin Roots, I highly suggest and recommend you go ASAP! It’s a must for everyone and the food and service is to perfection. Jeff provided a great service and recommended food options that I’ll order again and again.“

“We came in for brunch with a big party to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The “party room” was set up beautifully and the staff had the tv set to a lovely video playing of a fireplace. We were able to decorate to our liking with decorations we purchased to top off the already lovely space. While the restaurant was extremely busy, the staff was attentive and made sure our every need was met. The food was outstanding as always. Special thank you to the bartender and manager for a fabulous morning of brunch and bubbly to celebrate our dear one.“

“Very unassuming bar & grill that serves cajun style food. You will not be disappointed. Our table had the loaded steak fries, wedge salad and gumbo combo, cajun chicken alfredo, and the shrimp & grits. Everything served was delicious. We went on a Sunday afternoon, so it was not crowded. Located in ECU college town, I assume it gets busy on the weekends, but I am unsure.“

“All of us were skeptical (all 6 of us have had bad experiences here over the years) we decided to give it another try waiting for a show Nextdoor and so glad we did! This was honestly some of the best service we’ve had in a while. The food was also a levels up. Definitely glad we gave them another chance!“

“13 Eleven is a beautiful bar! The inside is always clean and nice. The outside patio is very elegant with rock firepits and standing heat fixtures. I love their drink specials and ladies' night on Saturday. The owners are very particular about whom they let in. I feel safe inside and out.“
