Naja (not sure if I have the correct spelling) she was upbeat, enduring, she knew her products and was able to inspiring to purchase more than what I intended on. Her personality was great and personable. I appreciated her attention to my little one (4 yr old) and making sure there was something he could eat since everything on the menu was too spicy. Over all great experience for myself and husband. I recommend and will absolutely be back. Good food, great service and cool clean atmosphere.

Decent but not what I expected

The food was good but she lied to me saying the chicken is jerk chicken, but the chicken thigh was just rubbery, and didn't have any seasonings on it, and was extremely dry other than that the oxtail was delicious the rice and peas was great and the Mac n cheese was delicious. But for some odd reason I started to feel very nauseous after I left the place. So, yeah I won't be back. I'm from Florida and our Jamaican cuisine restaurants there is what I'm used to I guess.

I went a couple years ago and food wasn't good. Tried it again today because I had a taste for oxtail. I sampled the meat prior to purchase and tasted good, so I ordered a plate. The meat was good, however the Mac n cheese was not it tasted box and the cheese sauce tasted funny. The worst was the rice and peas was spoiled. It smelled funny. I said maybe it's the seasons because the rice was a red tent (i never seen rice & peas red), so i tasted it but No, I got sick. I will never eat here again. We paid $30 per person for old food, not good. I only gave 2 stars because of the friendly young black lady that served us.

Jamaica and the Caribbean culture are so commercialized that it is no longer recognizable.
This Jamaican restaurant that "use to" have Jamaicans in NC and now their Oxitail is trash; no sauce, barely any seasonings, and it taste like it was boiled in water and they serve less oxtail compare to the old management for the megameal for almost $30. Their curry chicken is garbage. It tastes like plain chicken broth with watery curry for the yellow color. Their jerk chicken over seasoned, I couldn't taste the chicken, no harmony in the flavors whatsoever.
Lucky for me I got my money back through DoorDash, but they should be ashamed of themselves for serving inedible food and using Jamaica as a selling point.
I'm not a cook and I can make more decent curry than them. Hell, the Indian and East Asian restaurants in the same town make better curry than them.
But they don't care because it is not their food, and it doesn't hurt their culture.

This Google review is a compilation from past to present orders, and I am feed up. I order the brown stew chicken yesterday and made a complain on Door dash about the quality of the food because NOW the brown stew chicken sauce tasted watered down with little to no spice and the cheese in the Mac & Cheese tasted spoiled due to a sour after taste. I had order from DD for drop off so how are they my friends? I use to order from you for only the oxtails. Starting November 2021 I noticed the drastic change in the food quality made my complaints on DD and passed it off as maybe a bad batch. I had received a refund for my meal December 8th and I received a voucher which I redeemed December 20th. Also I have received a refund for my meal March 2. Since last year I stuck mostly to the prepackaged items such as the rum cakes, patties and drinks to get a familiar taste of home. I sporadicity will try a meal once in a while and the quality seem to get worst from *see above* to mushy rice and peas. The only cooked things worth spending money on which I have tried is the yams and plantains. I did a pick up order once February 9th to see who was serving my food I saw that they were not Jamaicans. I will apologized for assuming management had changed, but "who" cooks the food and have you tasted it? If you ate the food and think to yourself this taste like good quality Caribbean food you should be ashamed of yourself. This is not about only serving size, my one star is for the consistent "dropping" in quality of each meal along with getting less of the oxtail for the same expensive price.

Update 2024: funny how you tried to call me a liar yet everyone else are saying the same critique I had dispite you hiding my review.
