Sat at the bar. The fried oysters were awesome. Chili sauce. The crab cake , and burger were both wonderful. My hubby enjoyed the electronic fog beer and I had a lemon cocktail and the espresso cocktail. The fresh potato chips are fantastic!!

We stopped at Flying Machine to try their IPAs and have an afternoon snack. The only patrons were at the bar so we joined them. They were playing music and one of the speakers was having a moment but besides that the bartender was very pleasant and helpful. Both the pimento cheese and the buffalo shrimp were tasty bites and came with plentiful crackers and veggies. Also the Electronic Fog was a tasty IPA.

Was hoping for a good meal in Wrightsville Beach. DISAPPOINTED! Limited menu and shrimp and grits with sun dried tomatoe? Not good... to top it off... food poison from scallop! will not be back!

Had 6 fresh Oyster selections, all good. We had salad, and scallops nothing to get excited about. Tall ceilings make it difficult to have conversations. Service was good.

Stellar food! Plus the beer was varied and all tasted great. The staff were helpful, fun, and the place felt god to be in. Worth a revisit.

Went here with my parents when we were in town. The drinks were very tasty and the food was good. Some of the oysters were VERY small as you can see in the pic so just an FYI but they were tasty. The server was a bit odd in terms of looking everywhere but at you when ordering but the food did come out correctly so who knows. We sat inside but they also have outside seating which would be nice if the weather was pleasant. Inside is a bit of a dimmer vibe but nice!

The smash burger was good, although my fries were cold. The bone marrow oysters were good too. It was relatively quiet for a Saturday after noon. Nice place and I'll be going back to try the hot honey oysters. The rosemary lemon drop was delicious. If you get the crab dip, get extra pitas, they are so good.

Loved this place! Everyone was super friendly. The bar was filled with off duty employees, which is always a good sign at a restaurant. The pear spritz was delicious. Tons of tables inside and outside. Highly recommend $1 oyster Monday! Has a casual vibe but could also be more upscale.

Food was not good. Fish sandwich, burger, crab dip, chicken tenders… it was either burnt or old oil tasting. We had a bug crawl across our table. Waiters were kind of out there, hard to talk to… it really was not a good experience!

We came here based on previous reviews. Our visit on a Tuesday evening was mediocre at best. My husband’s IPA was served warmer than it should have been. They were low on an ingredient for one of their custom cocktails and I watched the bartender check to see if I was looking when nothing came out of the bottle he had upended over my glass before deciding to go get more in the back. My Smashburger was super dry and void of flavor. My husband’s shrimp and grits were good, but we have a strong suspicion the shrimp was frozen and not fresh for being at a seaside restaurant. Worst of all, the service at the bar was thoroughly disappointing throughout the evening. The bartender barely spoke to us. He looked pained to even have to speak. With only 5 other patrons at the bar we were a little shocked to have to get his attention for our credit card to be run after waiting to leave after our meal. He seemed lost behind the bar and confused that he was even at work. Super disappointing experience while dining in the area on vacation.

Service was good, friendly staff. Great oysters. I would recommend this place, elevated bar food.

I had fresh tuna salad with a citrus dressing on greens with FRIED saltines. Fresh delicious and pretty (see photo). My friend had the calabash basket aka fried oyster and fish (or shrimp) with apple slaw and delicious crispy skinny fries. Hot, tasty and plentiful. Got there early on a Friday and glad we did, as business was picking up as we left. Lots of fans of March Madness coming to watch the big TVs at either of the two bars. Service was friendly and efficient.

Friend had fried calabash basket. Fish and oysters were moist and crispy and the skinny fries addictive! I had the fresh citrus tuna salad on greens which was excellent. Good, unobtrusive service rounded out the meal. We were there early on a Friday, and the bar crowd was beginning to descend to watch March Maddness basketball on the big screen TVs.

Our experience was amazing! Down to getting us immediately seated, even though they seemed short staff, to our server, food, and atmosphere. Our server, Hannah, was the most down to earth friendly person we met in our weekend in Wilmington and she was so delightful to speak with. The food was some of the best we've had on our trip and the oysters are a MUST get. Super fresh and delicious. Thanks for a great dinner!
