Very good vegan burger—a little messy to eat because it was soft and wanted to slide out of the bread but I don’t mind. The vegan aioli and the fresh onions complement it very well. A little pricey but it’s a generous sized burger and it was nice to sit outside and look out at the ocean. One burger might not seem like much option wise but it’s very appreciated. We walked 2 miles from our hotel, which had no vegan options on its restaurant menu.
The service was great, the atmosphere was very peaceful, and the food was tasty.

Great view and nice looking restaurant. I had the cornbread for a starter that was delicious, but my main meal was not. I tried something new and it definitely was not for me.

This is a beautiful dining room with an ocean view indoors and outdoors. The best vegan Burger with a choice of sides... fries, fruit, side salad for $16.00. The burger was delicious, huge, and packed the vegetables and black beans. The side salad was not small. Updated from previous review on 2024-10-27
Today was sunny and warm so we started the week off right by taking advantage of early voting. We went to the library near the ocean to vote and luckily got there before the line was out in the parking lot. Since it took us around 90 minutes we chose to find a place for lunch before heading home!
We drove an extra 2 miles into Wrightsville Beach to Solstice which is located in the Holiday Inn Resort right on the beach! Our lunch capped off the day; Deb had the Chicken Sandwich and I had Shrimp Tacos! The food was great and since it is not in season we were seated immediately and our server Wendy helped us have a casual lunch!

Breakfast buffet and fresh omelet made to order. Wendy (shift supervisor) was awesome in making sure we had drinks and plates, etc.
Great experience and food!

We had a great time at Solstice. Food was terrific (lunch), as was the view. Our waitress was very good - got our drinks to us right away, but slow taking our order because she had a lot of tables closing out their brunch bills. There were 6 of us who had a lot of catching up to do, so it wasn't too much of an inconvenience.
Ocean views and a hidden gem at the beach! Appetizers were my favorite over all but the food was still very good
Parking: You park in the hotel lot. You walk into the “Lowe level” of the hotel and solstice is located 1 floor above in the back

Hidden in the Holiday Inn, this is a truly good restaurant with a super waterfront view and a gorgeous sun-deck. Also, the veggie burger was delicious!
Vegetarian options: Good vegan “burger”. Home made with greens and soy. Nice salad choices.

We had flies in our food. We were told they has a fly problem which made us even more grossed out after eating our food before we found the flies in it. Steal was also so chewy and no flavor. Spent over $100 for 4 drinks and some French fries because everything else was not good. They did comp the dish that had the swimming flies but was still over $100. Would not recommend. Over priced for what you get
I am so disappointed at the food quality at this restaurant. Even the burger doesn’t taste good . I ordered also seafood. The portion is very small, tasteless and overpriced. The only good thing about this restaurant is the service, the waiters and the view . I really wish they can do anything about the food quality, portions and taste .

We were so excited to eat here! The waitress was sweet and the atmosphere was beautiful. The menu sounded amazing! Started with a salad that was mediocre. The dressing was good but the salad seemed like a bagged salad with 2 small onion slices some sliced cucumbers and diced tomatoes. That’s not what the review is for…the main dishes were terrible! It was pricey with poor presentation. I ordered scallops and the first bite was okay. It went downhill quickly. They were very overcooked, small and funky tasting. The funky taste had me spitting it into my napkin. Crab risotto was weird, a little fishy tasting and the bok choy was overcooked. My friend ordered the NY strip Medium Well and it came out Medium Rare and just weird. It seemed like old meat. Her mashed potatoes were okay and she didn’t touch the artichoke. Very disappointing to the point that we are nervous and doubtful about having breakfast or any other food from here. The waitress was very nonchalant when we kindly and constructively told her. No thank you. There are so many other options down the road.

Really like Solstice and the atmosphere, but I found a hair in my salad! Still would give them a second chance because the food and atmosphere were exceptionally good other than that part of the experience. Would have left 4 or 5 stars but the hair in the food and the fact that I contacted restaurant by phone about experience but never got response back leaves me at 3. I will give them another shot eventually and update review accordingly.
