Gotta try Poe's!! Just walk by and the smell will draw you in! You will not be disappointed. A must try are the Chili Cheese Fries w/Edgar's drunken chili & cheddar cheese. Dare you to finish this huge dish! (both of you)lol

We love Poe’s Tavern! We continue to come here long after first discovering it in college. Today we drove out of the way to stop by and we are always pleased with the food and service! It’s also a beautiful place to sit outside!

A really cool beach tavern decorated entirely with Edgar Allen Poe. Laid back vibes, good food and lots of drink choices. Sitting is available inside and out. I recommend the fish tacos and crab sandwich.

What a cute little "locals"-feeling spot!! Small menu directed at what they do best (burgers and brews), but combining local ingredients and drafts. My lunch had great flavor and didn't skimp in any way. Has FANTASTIC ambience and lovely staff! Was able to sit on the patio w my pup and Lauren S. was outstanding in her friendliness and knowledge! Even the owner came out to greet us, def a must stop on Wrightsville Beach!!
