Zeke's Beans and Bowls

I would stay away from the seafood, especially during the off-season. I love seafood and have a strong stomach, but the two times I’ve eaten seafood here—cooked and raw—I’ve gotten sick or severe stomach cramps. The service is great and the staff are lovely but I would not recommend the seafood unless you’re willing to roll the dice. Heard similar stories from more than one friend.

WB staple! The BEST poke in the area and great coffee AND tea. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I am obsessed with their coconut green tea and their seasonal coffee specials. Great service, vibes, and music. Probably my favorite restaurant in Wilmington. SO excited about them opening a location in the Cargo District. I am 9 mo pregnant and I CANNOT WAIT for an OG Poke bowl as my first meal PP!

Food was ok.. fajita bowl was cold but what bummed me out the most is when dinning in they give you plastic take away containers and forks. You would think being so close to the beach they would be a little more eco friendly.

I had the chicken teriyaki bowl and my husband had the tuna pita and they were both delicious. We both had a smoothie and it was also good!

I can’t wait to go back to Zeke’s! The Cali poke was delicious (so much tuna!!). The açaí bowls are picturesque and very tasty & the outside seating was perfect.

The açai in the bowl they served me was completely liquid like a soup. My toppings were submerged in the liquid like a stew. It was a bit frustrating considering I paid $11 for the bowl. I would understand if it was melted if I ordered it for delivery, but it was completely melted before they even handed it to me in store. I am giving 3 stars because they did remake it for me. My husband got a smoothie vs a bowl, which was actually good. Good spot for smoothies, not so much for açai bowls!

Tried this local Wrightsville Beach restaurant. It was very laid back. It's very popular with college-aged young adults. We had chicken and tuna pitas with chips. My wife also got an Acai bowl. Everything was great. Great place for small groups of four or less. Portion size was also small.

Food was very good and delicious. Unfortunately there was a man in front of us wearing underwear and I was quite disturbed and very unusual. Hopefully next time my experience will be different and this review provides notice for real change.

The decor is a cool beachy coffee shop with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating

My wife and I both ordered the bibimbap bowl and it was tasty. The kids enjoyed the acai bowls due to the chocolate and overly sugary taste. I found the acai bowls watered down. My son asked if the granola was crushed up bars from trader joes?

The major challenge was the long wait and operational inefficiency. The same person takes orders, answers the phone, makes coffee and brings food to the tables. The kitchen staff could be seen sitting on the counters swinging their legs without assisting at the front of the house.

I completely understand things take time when busy but this lies.l directly with management not having enough staff and sharing duties across those that are here.

Overall, I would not come back and spend a hour of my day for the food and service that was provided.

Ordered a tofu poke- it came with crab (according to the cashier they only sub the tuna for tofu but leave the crab which makes 0 sense to me) but because of the response to my asking to have it made with out I have to give a low rating. She told me “next time order it without” but I’m not a local- there’s no way to know the tofu option would still have fish. Food was mediocre and the cashier place the remade bowl on the table very rudely and shouted “you’re welcome” when I didn’t even speak.
