Margarita house bar & grill

Came in today July 25, 2025 there was barely anyone in the restaurant. I saw three workers and flagged two of them down no one came… I lady with black and blonde hair came to the front with an attitude me thinking she was going to sit my party down.. she puts up menus and walks away so we decided to leave and go to San Jose🙂

Food was basic customer service was even worst. Only reason I ordered from here was because San Jose was closed. Their food was better, but their customer service is about the same

This place went downhill quickly. Last time we dined in, half the menu prices were blacked out with a sharpie marker, portions are much smaller and overpriced, especially their queso. We recently ordered takeout. An order of nachos and fajitas was almost $40 and the portions are so small it's laughable and they gave us stale tortilla chips that tasted like they sat out in the open for 3 days. Salsa only filled half way. I feel ripped off and most likely won't be going back because there's a Mexican restaurant every 30 feet in Zebulon. 🤦‍♂️

SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS! I went with a party of 4 people, and they charged all of us 3 dollars more than what was on the receipts, even after tip. I have taken it up with my credit card company. The place was also swarming with flies, the staff did not provide any silverware (we had to ask the bar for some) and we waited 20 minutes for our receipts and once again had to ask the bar. Absolutely zero service, illegally up charging us, and so many flies it will probably be shut down for sanitation score soon anyway.

Got Fried ice cream and tres leches cake. This is not fired ice-cream. The corn flakes are literally not crunchy, they are hald mushy half hard, gross, not edible. Trea leches cake is extremely dense, sweet, and has entirely too much condensed milk. This is not authentic tres leeches cake. They also charge you a to go fee, PER ITEM, ridiculous. The staff are kind of rude and not attentive. The lady told me my order was ready, but still had me stand and wait about 5 minutes while she literally scrolled through her phone and laughed at things on her screen, until another server basically asked her if she was going to let me pay/did I already pay. Will not return to this establishment. It was very very empty inside. Would not recommend.

Don't eat here unless you're ok with paying more for pickup than ordering through DoorDash. They charge more for a kids meal, don't give you the drink with the excuse that takeout doesn't come with a drink, then charge you an extra fee for pickup, which is less work for them than eating in.Cross yet another greedy restaurant off my list of companies I'm willing to support.

The food was amazing. I love the hot sizzling food served on the mini cast iron skillet 🤤. So flavorful. Serviced was amazing. Our waiter was very attentive to our needs. Refills when needed.

Ordered sopapillas and receive cinnamon sugar chips. Also queso is super over priced either $5 for like 2oz of queso or $17.99 for what they called a large not sure how big that is but one would assume the small was bigger than what we got. Wouldn't recommend.
