Stopped while on a long road trip. They served a delicious burger and the waitress was exceptional. Atmosphere and cleanliness was not great. Staff was chatting in hallway, sitting on crates, when walked to bathroom. Maybe it’s just a small town local expectation. I would return as there were not many choices and food was delicious.
A friend and I stopped by for lunch around 1:00 on a week day. There was one other customer.The decor is fire fighter themed. It's tastefully done I thought.It's a pretty decent sized eatery and we seated ourselves. Our waitress was right there with menus, asking if we wanted anything to drink. (they do have beer and wine according to the pamphlets at the table)The menu though! If you like smoked meats and brisket it's going to be hard to choose! Everything looked...
I have to admit I was a little disappointed with this place. A local recommended it. It was good, but not great. It was over priced and the serving sizes are small. I ordered a piece of carrot cake for desert. It was a mini Bundt cake and I think it was a spice cake you warm up in the microwave. It wasn't very good and it was $8.00. Like I said, food is good, not great, serving sizes are small, and the food is overpriced for what you get. I was a little disappointed.
