Sadly cannot give a better score than this. Store is well stocked. Everything is clean. The hostess was our server. She was helpful and friendly. Counter service was prompt and friendly. Food came out quickly. BUT the food was way below Cracker Barrel standards. The meatloaf was dry and the chicken and dumplings were pasty dry/thick with something like pulled chicken under in. The fried okra, mashed potatoes, and steak fries were fine. We were so very disappointed. The server offered to exchange the food for something else but we did not want to take the time for that.

Be careful walking around. My foot caught on a bench and I fell.

My mom ate I ate there, and overall, it was an average experience. I had the Country Boy Breakfast, and Mom had the Old Timer's Breakfast. The steak tips I had and the bacon my mom had was the best part. I asked for my fried eggs over medium, two of the three were over easy, improperly flipped and not cooked properly. Mom's scrambled eggs were more like an egg only omlet, thin, flat and folded. It was odd to see scrambled eggs like that and if we ever return there the scrambled eggs will not be on our plates. Both of our meals came with biscuits and gravy, which were okay, the biscuits were good but we both found the gravy to be mediocre, bland or mild in flavor.

The service there was okay but lacking in some areas. When we ordered drinks, coffee and water, it took a while to get to us. Our flatware was brought at the same time as the drinks but no spoons. Mom asked for spoons and we got one spoon for the both of us. We had to use the single spoon between the both of our coffees, and to later scoop our gravy out of the bowl. Later we used our butter knives to stir our coffee.

Paying for the meal took longer than getting the meal. The store was busy and the cashiers were slow. Several people there were confused as to where to get seated and where to pay their bill. Because of the setup of the store, the lines at the cashiers were also unorganized and felt very crowded.

I will go to this Cracker Barrel again, but only because I do believe in giving second chances. The food was good despite some shortcomings, and the service was good but could use some improvement. Liked the store itself but not enough to stand in the cashier line again.

Stopped by after work, and had Teah as my server, she was spectacular and the manager I believe his name was Mike and was the example of how a manger should be. Definitely recommend. Thank you both for the great service.

Stopped there for lunch, service okay but my meatloaf was dry and mash potatoes cold…but others in our party were luckier and got good food.
