Chicken was mediocre, at best…not the same as before when you had delicious, crispy southern fried chicken. The gravy tasted terrible. The corn tasted like it had been reheated several times. The hash brown casserole was good, though some of the potatoes were kind of hard, not cooked through. The baking powder biscuit was the best part of the meal! And $19 was way too much for this meal! My friend’s hashbrowns were almost black—the manager did give her a free dessert in exchange.

Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of handicapped parking but I can’t see how a wheelchair could negotiate around all the clutter in the storefront to get to the back where the restaurant is.

Ordered cod fillet for fish Friday with two sides Fish was over cooked hard no moisture to the meat and the breading was not to my liking. The seasoned rice was hard. I was asked how was the meal I resistantly stated my thoughts the waitress said she would make something else I said no I would eat what I ordered, but she insisted so I ordered the grilled catfish as a replacement. It was hot and moist an excellent substitution. I was pleased by her excellent customer service and presented her with a military retirement coin. The best service experience I have had in years. Thank You!

I showed up with my family - 5 of us total, 3 adults, a pre-teen and a 3 yr old. They tried to put us in a table for 4 mind you the shortest ones are my grandson (3) my daughter and I, my son in law and granddaughter are very tall so they have long legs. The table was awfully close to another, and they wanted to put a high chair for my grandson at the end of our already small table. As I looked around I noticed a table for 6 which in my mind (silly me) makes more sense, so we asked our server if we could move. My granddaughter and I walked over to the restroom as our server was telling the front staff how we had asked to be moved. One of the servers said to me "we won't be able to move you guys because once we pencil someone in they have to stay where we set them and we need to keep the 6 seater table open in case we get a group of 6"
I understand rules need to be in place, I get it, but when you have a group of 5 people total - why would you try to shove them in a table for 4!!! If the restaurant was full and that was the only table available it would have made sense in a way, but just because we are 1 person short of 6 is the dumbest excuse in the book in my opinion. I will NEVER go back to this place ever again. I don't want this to affect the server we were assigned though, she was really nice and tried to be accommodating to our request - I'm upset with the staff at the desk who tried to literally shove 5 people into a small table.

We got pecan pancakes with topped fried apples & the strawberry french toast bake. Food was great but we had to return to the store because the strawberry syrup wasn't in our bag. The store went above & beyond to account for the mishap. We will be returning in the near future!
