After ordering we waited almost an hour for the food. They weren't even busy at the time.

Service was wonderful and fast. Restaurant was very clean and tidy. Food was great, but the Tonkotsu ramen I had was a bit plain. The spice paste they use simply isn't spicy enough.

So glad to finally have a traditional ramen restaurant in Bismarck! Every dish I've tried has a wonderful, rich broth and fresh ingredients. Definitely worth frequent visits.

The spicy ramen was very good. The eggs, noodles, bean sprouts, and pork were all outstanding.
I've probably tried 6 or 7 ramen joints around North Dakota (Fargo, Grand Forks, and Bismarck), and this has been my favorite so far

Bismarck continues to surprise me, phenomenal Ramen restaurant in ND! Spring Rolls were crispy, hot and fresh, and were delicious as was the dipping sauce.
Ordered the Spicy Beef Ramen (Beef broth with Shoyu base and chili oil, braised beef brisket, a tender beef back rib, shredded radish, cilantro, chopped onions, chili oil and a wedge of lime). Had to try because it looked over the top with a big Beef rib sticking out of it. Broth was the star, brisket was good as was the Beef rib.
Highly recommend!

Gimme a minute to find some wordsā¦ā¦ ?ā?
The server asked me if we needed anything as he collected our bowls, a Time Machine would be perfect so that I could back up and experience this again. I ordered the Spicy Tantanmen, the broth was rich and fulfilling with a heat that personally I enjoyed and still lingers on my lips just slightly. Depending on oneās exposure to heat it might be recommended to order āmildā but as for myself off the menu was perfect.
The cuts of pork were perfectly meaty and marbled and cooked so as to have a crispness and not feel rubbery and gelatinous in my mouth.
I second the rave reviews Iāve heard from local family and Iām over the moon Iāve had the chance to experience this place myself. I hope it continues to receive all the support it needs to be successful and here when I visit again. Nicely done!

What a find! Pulled off 94 yo explore and this place looked good. WOW, inside is like any LA high end place: black wood with stonework. Real kimono on the wall. Menās room had fresh flowers. Oh and the food was awesome: beef ramen broth was sublime- beefy (alll I saw in road were cattle) with balance spicy and soy base. Karate was so crunchy and then juicy sweet inside. Oh and service was impeccable. Free WiFi too. Bravo! :-)

Personally, best ramen in Bismarck. Simply put. My daughter and I arrived around 5pm and we were the only people in there. The woman working, I would assume the owner, but perhaps I am wrong; was so friendly and welcoming. She made us feel as if we were āat homeā which I personally LOVED. She was so attentive to my daughter. She had a beaming smile and bright personality. I have ate at Nara numerous times, but this experience blew me out of the water. The food was also exceptional. Their āHoney Pickahuā aka cheese rangoons/wontons were absolutely delicious. Best I have ever had. Crispy, sweet, tangy, cheesy, delicious. Daughter approved too! Also, had the marinated chicken for an appetizer which was yum. The STAR of the show (aside from the amazing service) was hand down the Spicy Tantanmen Ramen! So bomb. Bursting with flavors, spices fragrant and delectable, the marinated eggs, so delicious- probably one of my favorite parts about ramen! This was the best dish I have tried here. I also really enjoy the ShabuShabu or Hot Pot that they offer! I tried it during their Valentines Day special and it was tasty. Iād love to try their new mini hot pot! Iāll definitely be back.. ramen is such a warm, yummy, feel good meal and Nara provides just the environment for it. (My only complaint is I wish their music was more lively, perhaps like a light house or something along those lines.. but thatās personal preference and understand it is ND after all lol!!) LOVED that their tv was playing Victortious a great family show.. Great to see!! Loved it actually, better than politics and truly felt like I was āhomeā! Great experience.
Kid-friendliness: AMAZING. (Only missing a changing table in the bathroom, but not end of the world by any means at all.)
