Doors always locked 🔒 forcing you to use the drive through. Unacceptable. I feel bad for people who have a short lunch break.

Some of the food is decent. Don't order honey walnut shrimp. It was very bad and mushy (inedible) and tasted like cooking oil. Most of chicken dishes and the Beijing Beef is okay. The rice can be a little crunchy at times. The crab rangoons are good.

I am such a big Panda fan, it was always the go to spot for me in college. I will never eat panda express unless I'm in another state. This location consistently has bad service, closed doors with no warning, and long wait times. I've gone through the drive thru without receiving utensils and straws often, and have doubled back on one occasion. Ordering Chiw mein and 50% of the entre is Cabbage. What recipe is this?! It's actually appalling how much this location has ruined my perspective on Panda Express

One star that was not earned. Two of the last three times that I have been at the Bismarck Panda express, I stopped by during normal business hours and there were cars in the parking lot and customers in the store and the doors were locked. Once at 1:05 pm and again on 1/27 at 11:14 am. There will not be a third time. Congratulations, you did it as this takes horrible customer service to a new level. I can go to any other restaurant in Bismarck or Mandan during normal business hours and the doors will be open. Don't waste your time, you may get there and be turned away. I don't have time for that when I have 45 minutes for a lunch break. Not worth it. Stay away.

There is another complaint on Yelp for the same thing. I think this is also a violation of fire code.

Their food is addicting so it’s hard not to patronize this restaurant. I regret going there every time though. Service is awful. Food is usually ready about 20 minutes later than projected in the app, which is 30 minutes after ordering it. Will need to stop eating here.

Tonight was BAD service to say the least. Started out the MAIN door was locked 2 hours before close with no sign on the door that said to use the Side door. Then when you get in amd approach the counter, 8 different employees just look at you but won't say a single word to you. A fellow customer had to tell us that they had noone to run the cash register and you have to order online! 8 employees, no verbal welcome, no explanation to order online, no signage posted anywhere! 8 more customers come in and stand in line to be helped and each time not a single employee says anything to them! It was us customers letting fellow customers know to order online! Do they not want business? No employee had a smile, not one. Nobody welcomed anyone. Oh, did I mention that the trashcan was overflowing to the point that there was food all over the floor that I nearly slipped on and fell? I've never had such a horrible experience for customer experience and cleanliness like this. If your the owner reading this....better make changes and fast or you're not gonna have a restaurant much longer.

Ordered drive through. Extremely slow, must have waited about 30 minutes at drive through window, that’s after I had waited in drive through line waiting behind two cars in front of me for about 15-20 minutes. Was told out of orange chicken when I got to drive through window and asked to substitute, which I agreed too. I paid for my order then watched someone fix half my order then just let it set there and I’m still at drive through window the whole time. Finally the guy who took my money & asked me to substitute came back to the window after I finally honked my car horn (I was trying to be patient). He tells me he was sorry for the delay but he had to go to Costco to buy something they needed, WTH!! (Mgr or assistant mgr?) finally gave me my food, then had to remind him I still needed my two soft drinks. Got home & found out they screwed up the order and didn’t get substitutes nor one of the other items. Observations while waiting at window. Watched one employee stand around for almost that whole time, not knowing what to do. Kept looking at order receipts like he had no clue. I wondered if he could read, in the meantime the inside line got longer & longer. Do better Panda Express!👎🏼

I ordered in the drive-thru and was asked to wait 5-7 minutes, so I did. After 20 minutes, I went into the store to be laughed at for being forgotten. The food I had ordered had been sitting on the counter in the serving bowl the entire time getting cold. Manager Kamal came out and offered to make my food and give me anything I wanted, and when I told him I didn't want cold food or anything else, just my money, he also laughed at me. Guess not serving paying customers after making them wait twice the quoted time is funny.

I did get a refund but be warned that when they forget to serve you what you pay for, it is funny and whi knows how long your food was getting cold on the counter before the food was put on the service line. Good luck if you chose to eat at this location. Have a second choice and time to get food there.

I stood in line for a while before I was acknowledged by an employee to his credit. He was going to help me, but was called away to the till after he helped the person at the register they both walked away one to answer the phone and the other one to take a drive-through order. I wasn’t acknowledged again. I left the building.

Horrible service and management. we were in the drive thru for over 20 minutes and called the store and the manager answered and he didn’t even realize there was 4 cars in there drive thru. That’s an absolute disaster of a manager
