Pickup here is an absolute mess. On multiple time I have showed up after the scheduled time my groceries are ready to still wait in the parking lot for 30+ minutes. I’ve also gone in myself to retrieve the groceries. There is not system notifying you that they are running late, just simply not ready. I called and they cannot offer anything other than “sorry we are short staffed” I understand situations like this happen but for it to happen consistently is unacceptable

I'll start with my only complaint, they should fix whatever needs to be fixed with the restrooms, as some days you're nearly knocked out by the scent of sewage as you enter the store. That pesky detail aside, we are quite happy with our plus membership, even with the 2hr drive. I know, I know, that seems illogical. Hear me out. We get free shipping to ourselves, friends & family when shopping online. The squirrels need nuts, bam, here in 2 days and I don't have to leave the house. That's faster than a "prime order" &, honestly, faster than me going to a local store. I'd put it off as long as possible. Soup for the grandparents, done. Kids low on snacks, check. Fireplace- that took a little longer than 2 days... but, still. For the online options alone it's worth the membership for us. Every few months we also make a trip to shop the store, or when already in town we swing in. 5lbs of goat cheese for the price of 6oz locally? Yes, please! We stock up on freezer items during our periodic visits & on specidic produce whenever we're in town. The scan & go option is FANTASTIC- no checkout lanes to deal with. We simply scan the items as we add them to the bags/boxes in the cart. Swipe to pay & show our QR code on exit. We haven't had a lot of waste, or issues with expiration dates close- in & we've never had to use customer service. So far, so good, many years running.

Recently, I was banned from every Sam's Club in the country, with no reason given in the letter nor with follow up communications with the company. I want to share this uncomfortable experience, to allow other customers to make an informed choice if they want to do business, here. I took photos of the letter I received as well as the follow up communication. All of this came without warning. I didn't have any altercations with employees or customers at the local club. I didn't steal anything and no policeman ever spoke to me. It's left me with a poor impression of the club and their business practices. It's nice to reach out and help a friend. I won't meet the people who might read this and if they are on the fence about how much value they get from their membership in exchange for the $60 a year membership fee, and being manipulated into upgrading to plus, then they may cash it in and not return to renew. I think if I can help a few of those people to feel confident that they made the right decision and they won't worry or have any self-doubts about it, then that would make me feel better about going through this experience.I think people feel a strong sense that something is wrong with this store, but they like the prices and some become dependent on it, to feed their families. And the clerks at the customer service counter are so friendly and reassuring, making you doubt yourself if you want to question this store. I think it is an illusion. It is by design. It isn't on accident. If you want to go up there and cash in your membership, don't feel bad about it. It's your money, isn't it? If they truly care about you, they would want you to make a decision that makes you happy.I would say go ahead and do it. Get it over with and don't look back. Pay a little bit more somewhere else, for the peace of mind and your own well being. You'll find sales and other ways to save money. You don't need this store. You might even feel a sense of personal empowerment in knowing you can keep food costs down, and that you are no longer dependent on Sam's Club. Any work you have to go through to make that a reality isn't a hassle, it's a challenge. You won't enjoy the challenge, at first, but maybe over time, you will.

Dont order delivery from Sams Club. They use a third party vendor that can pick or choose which deliveries to make . I talked to the manager and she said there is nothing they can do. I have been waiting over 2 days for my order. I regret having upgraded to PLUS

Sushi at Sam's? yes, I feel strange writing this but we got sushi here as my brother says it is the best in town. Honestly, they did very well for a take home sushi and I would recommend it if you are in town. As all is cold, if you are in to hot cooked rolls, may want to go to diff place. Sorry, no pics on this one.

Bulk sized Walmart. You can get some great deals by buying in bulk though many items are available in not so large sizes. Like milk is sold by the gallon and the rotisserie chickens are sold by the each. The rotisserie chickens are a great deal, like $5 for a chicken that is bigger than chickens for more at other stores. The snack bar has cheap food that is good.

Sometimes they ask for your membership at the door other times you walk right in... so that's confusing but ice selection and clean
