My family stopped in here for dinner while in Bismarck. Our waitress was friendly. We really enjoyed the spring rolls. I ordered the udon noodles: they were decent but I was bored by the end of the dish. The restaurant itself was nice, but the table felt sticky and there were a lot of flies

Server spills scaling on soup on someone, burns the lower half of their body, ruins their brand new shoes, and you come with 2 bowls of “complementary” soup. And to have to ask to change it and only take off $1.40 of two items, unf*cling real.
Been coming here for years and won’t step foot in ever again. Absolutely unreal.

My waitress is terrible!! I don’t know her name. But I always see her everyday at Shogun. She wears hello kitty’s pin . I don’t like her attitude. Drink never refill, she walked too slow! Food was cold! My steak so hard! She was rude and bossy! I never come back again!

There might be more experiences to have in town than here but I absolutely love stopping in at Shogun. It's a pretty good sized place with awesome staff and well made dishes.I hope this mall stays open so this place never has to move.

We ordered 3 different sushi plates and a combo dinner and shared it amongst the three of us.Our server was very attentive. The food arrived quickly, and everything was delicious.From the outside, it doesn't look like muchThe inside is filled with great staff and delicious food.

Unbelievably good! Didn't think for a second you could find sushi this fresh so far away from any coastal regions... I was pleasantly surprised! Soooo worth it! The staff was incredible as well!!!

Fun staff great food. Last experience went in with a reservation, after half an hour got approached at the table and asked if i had a reservation. After 50 minutes, I didn't have a drink yet even. Finally asked how long things would take and was told another hour. Left without eating or even the beers ordered half an hour prior. 0 stars wasn't busy.
A dining experience with the hibachi chefs is always fun, but eating in the dining area is just as nice. Seating in the bar is okay, and there is a back room for large groups. The service is very good sometimes and at other times not as good. You are served salad and soup right away, but sometimes you don't get a refill on drinks unless you flag someone down.

We ordered the pad Thai and I truly don't know what we ended up getting. The dish was bright orange and tasted nothing like Pad Thai, so disappointing! The waitress we had was so checked out. The tables and floors were sticky to the touch. The sushi wasn't terrible, but nothing like what we get elsewhere. I would not recommend coming here.

Been there a-couple of times service was great good was amazing. But tonight was not at all what I expected. Started by server making us wait over 5/7 mins just to get drinks. Then we got the “shogun lover” to where it comes with soup and salad only got the soup. Dude was just rude to us. Took awhile for the food to get there. Food was great! But then we never got any refills. Dude ignored us the hole time. And when it came time to pay. Some random worker “a lady” grabbed my card. And said thank you yadada. Then I asked the guy for a to-go box. And he said “ok have a good night!” And we sat and waited 10 mins and no one ever gave me my card back. I had to wait for someone to pass by to ask to give me my card back.

Some friends and I went here to eat on a Saturday night recently. None of us had ever been here and we all agreed that we would definitely like to go back! We got two different sushi rolls to share and they were both delicious. Three of us got hibachi dinners and they were great, too (you get a lot of food and the leftovers were delicious the next day). One person got chicken pad Thai and she said it was very good. The service was amazing- we had three different servers checking on us and they all had had great attitudes and made the dining experience fun and interesting!
