Food is usually undercooked or moldy and when brought up with workers they do help out but nothing changes. The people that work in the caf have actually gotten nicer and more helpful over my years here which I appreciate!

This place is awesome and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. A fair warning, they are always (seemingly) playing monastery choir music throughout the WHOLE building.
Dietary restrictions: They have an entire area dedicated to people with dietary restrictions and allergies.
Parking: While the parking is intended for campus users, there is plenty of parking for other patrons as well.
Kid-friendliness: Our experience with the crow's nest was excellent. They had wonderful options for kids and adults alike. The staff were also extremely friendly towards my son.

As a student at UMary I consider myself very fortunate to have had 24/7 access to the Crow's Nest. Now as an employee I still enjoy heading over to have lunch pretty much every day. The wide variety makes it a worthwhile stop for anyone maybe looking for something different than the normal stops in Bismarck.

I was a student at the University of Mary from 2014 - 2018. At the start of my higher education, the "Caf" was what anyone would expect from a University cafeteria.Around my Senior year, UMary opened the Lumen Vitae University Center. With this new building came a MASSIVE transition in the quality of food served on campus.I now work on campus and take every opportunity to eat in the restaurant that I can.The new restaurant that was opened on campus is not something to miss.
