We got to there about 7:30pm and it was super busy. We sat there for over 20 minutes before anyone asked if we’ve been helped. Our waiter said they sent home a waiter just a bit again. I can’t believe they sent a waiter home because it was busy inside, outside, and at the bar. It’s summer time! People are coming and going off the river. We ordered an appetizer and a pizza (no alcohol drinks) and it took over an hour to get our food. Our appetizer was cold and our pizza was very, very burnt. However, our waiter was wonderful! He was running and sweating like crazy trying to make sure all the customers were good. Would not recommend, especially with kids. Will not be returning.

It’s amazing how one server can drive away business. Food was fine but it’s easy to say I will not be a customer of the this establishment again. I guess I’m confused why someone that seems so inconvenienced by customers would choose to work in the hospitality industry. She was extremely rude and lacked any common restaurant courtesy. How about silverware, napkins, anything else with our meal like maybe some sauces? Isn’t it serving 101 to ask, does everything look good? Do you need anything else? We didn’t even want to ask for anything like a glass of water because we couldn’t handle the eye rolling and disgust from her having to do her job.

Went into the pier to play a few games and it took the waitress awhile to wait on my niece and I. Service unfriendly, stinks like perfume, was served 1 drink, and waitress never came back to ask if we would like anything else so we left.

No gluten free options. Not the greatest grilled chicken salad.
Dietary restrictions: No Gluten free options. Had to get a grilled chicken cobb salad. It comes with crispy chicken so make sure to ask for grilled.

Never got served after waiting an hour. Owner and their family came in and received top notch service from all the staff but patrons waited hours for their checks, drinks, and food. Tables were never cleaned the entire time we were there. Staff were arguing outside near the shed and complaining about patrons… Someone call John Taffer or let any investors know, this place is a fail.

Service was very slow. We originally sat outside and about boiled with the west sun. The place would benefit from roll down shades or more umbrellas better situated for reasonable shade. Waiter needed training. Didn't remember what beers they had and we tried to order a few beers before finally finding one they had. Why can't there be a list or knowledge of beer availability? Five of us ordered and four had mistakes on their meals, one fries instead of tater tots, one got French Dip that didn't have cheese, one missing slaw that didn't ever come. Ordered a key line drink but got a plain margarita and was about dehydrated so just accepted it. We moved inside. We had to request refills or additional drinks by flagging down or calling or asking for the apparently single young male waiter. Food was pretty good but not what ordered. We swatted flys constantly, sadly both inside and out. We were embarrassed by the service and not from these parts but had asked three to join us for a total of five, and because things were so mediocre just thought it best to buy everyone's meal. Could be a nice place to go but certainly not when there is west sun and not if one is in a hurry

I love the Pier! love coming here on a hot summer night after a full day on the river but I'd love for you to do better. took 1 hour and 30 minutes for a Southport pier burger and nachos. was told there was 1 cook! 1 cook and 6 owners and your staff is dying on a Monday!! Do better! also the table next to me had to go to the bar after several minutes of wating and he said we'll you were ready the first time came to you. Do better be better I know you guys can!!!

Every time i’ve been here the food has taken over an hour. Do not recommend going here if you’re on the river and looking to eat. The restaurant isn’t even busy and the food still takes over an hour.

Don’t go to this place, I went here once on my birthday to celebrate and this place is old and outdated, the whole time I was their the owners were drinking while on the job and yelling, talking about politics right in front of there customers, that shouldn’t be allowed anywhere, the food and the drinks were not great either, the bartender at the time didn’t seem to care about his job and just made the drinks how ever they pleased, the food was just boring and bland nothing that makes me wanna go back and order again, the waiter was super nice and very helpful when we asked about certain items, the atmosphere there isn’t so great either this place definitely could use some renovation to bring a more relaxed modern atmosphere, all in all you’re better off going to the paddle trap until this place gets better so unfortunately it’s not for me

I waited for 30 minutes for a salad and tator tots. The tots came out hot and wine cold but that's where the postive experience ends. The Mahi Mahi on my salad was cold in the middle, there was brown and wilted lettuce, I had no silverware, and they forgot my dressing. There were about 5 tables with people at the time so they were not busy, yet I waited for more than 5 minutes for my dressing and silverware in which time I walked to the bar to pay for my drink.The tables outside were so stained and menues had food and squished bugs in them. There needs to be more care in the service and details of this place. I would never go back unless you really only want a beer and food from the fryer.
